Sam Vichea has written a concise poem reflecting the present conditions of Cambodians of present Cambodia.
Just like in North Korea if the ordinary citizens are refusing to think and cry (whether it is a genuine or fake demonstration of feeling) when one of the architects and promoters of their suffering is dead, then they are hopeless in their present condition living like a frog in a well thinking that what they have is the best condition of live they can get and deserve.
If the powerful of the country is getting fat and obese and many others in the same country can hardly survive a daily challenge of trying to put food on the table for the family, then there is definitely serious problem with the way the country is run.
No willingness to change through demands and actions, then status quo shall remain!
