I think the King didn't bow to solute the three Viet'stooges,the king's using his two hands forming like a spear head kind of the Khmer martial Bokator prompting to plunge in to the chesk of those stooges taking livers to show Cambodians those Viet's slaves that are really a traitors,rather.

This comparison is not accurate. The person who made this comparison lacks of understanding the inner situations between this Young King, King Sihamoni and the old monarch, King Bhumibol.
Bhumibol took the throne after he may have killed his brother, King Mahidol, then he created "lese Majesty Laws" to seal and protect his authority. Bhumibol a new absolute monarchy is the world richest monarch, and he silent all every Thai citizen from Challenging him. Bhumibol massacred Thai citizen during Thamasit. The Thai people must crawl to his feet.
Sihamoni a poor humble man, a simple dance instructor after his young brother prince Norin Darapong died from alcohol overdiose, Sihamoni stayed silent watching his country plunged into the hand of Yuon. His young brother, Norin Darapong (aka Seila) many times spoke loudly in Cambodia against Yuon, but when he returned to France he went through depression and sadness he drunk until death.
Sihamoni refused the throne offered to him, but he was asked and insisted so he did. Sihamoni knew he is living inside the mafia Yuon/Hun Sen control, he is trying his best to show his sincerity friendship with the mafia killers. At least he helps his people like building many homes and brings food, medicine and clothes to his poor people.
Sihamoni's life is very tragedy, he wants nothing but too help his country and his people.
These few radical extremists including KI are nothing more than a group of stupid flame radical extremists heading to divide the Khmers from unity. Guess who are the real trouble makers?

You are so wrong about Thai people. They have fought to free themselves from the absolute monarchy since 1930 but they failed. You see like they are united but under a very tough laws of Bhumibol "Lese Majesty Laws".
If King Sihamoni has all power and use "Les Majesty Laws", Khmers will be seen as United people in one Nation, but King Sihamoni was a prisoner of the notoriously killers who use him as a puppet to shield their ugly regime.

Khmers have a history of betraying each others since Jayavaraman 8 took over the throne. He was a usurper from somewhere and launched his campaign and he massacred too many Khmers and burned down the Kingdom. Too many escaped to Siam and to Champa and Annam. Khmers have never mentioned his name because of their weakness and their fallen civilization.
The reason today why Khmer empire has been declined since then until now? They cannot unite to ONE. They distrust each others because the Viets' strategies is embedded in Khmer society since 1500's.

Seihamony shows weakness on his part as a Khmer king. He represents the country and the people and he has the responsibility to point out to hun sen government their wrong doing and make changes or at least brings up the issues to the floor. in stead, seihakmony does anything hun sen has ordered him to. He is much too humble in the present of hun sen to be a king. Seihakmony cannot just close his eyes and over look the suffering and injustcice inflicted on people by hun sen regime for the sake of his throne.History will always remember him a a weak and coward king!
i'm sure the king of cambodia did say his best wishes to all khmer people for success and happiness. just because ki didn't show it here, doesn't mean the king did not say it to his khmer people, you know! god bless cambodia and all our beautiful khmer people and citizens.

Sihanouk & Sihamoni don't have to be King or to reign under the Viets and worst they knew it and yet they kiss Hun Sen Ass in order to stay in power.
