I am confident there will be new and significant developments in Cambodia in the next twelve months that will alleviate the sufferings of the Khmer people and bring new hope for our Nation.

While wishing Happy new year to all and as a reader, I think Sam Raignsy has a lot to learn and there are a lot to be desired on the part of the SRP:
First and foremost, all communications should be in three languages: Khmer, English and French and most importantly should not just be a translation from one language to another at all!

Yuon are now serving China, you know? Yuon Hanoi added one more star on Chinese's flag when Chinese Vice Prez visited on Dec/21/2011.
The origin Chinese flag including a big star are only FIVE, now Chinese's flag have SIX Stars.

For ONE day of the New Year of 2012, put your hands out and shake hands with your fellow Cambodians anywhere around the world and forget about your political affiliations and the party presidents!
Like it or not, everyone of you was born in Cambodia and each has loved her and that is why you are on this site. Cambodia belongs to every Khmer or anyone who cares for her survival, wellbeing and prosperity!
You can't just hate each other without even having met and base your hatred on political affiliation with different parties.
For New Year and Cambodia's sake, let us all be friends today and reach out to each other.
Let us have a unity at least today if it is at all possible with all of you who are tearing each other apart!
I have followed Cambodian politics since the early 70s and one of the things I wish for before I die is to see the Khmers learn to have unity and be willing to accomodate other Khmers' opinions without resorting to harm them for the differences.
So to all of you, including PM Hun Sen and his friends:
Happy New Year and May the New Year bring to Cambodia nothing, but peace, freedom, justice, love and prosperity!
