My testimony reported from Cambodia
On my second trip to Cambodia, I crossed Bavet with my father to visit a small village a little further from the local market. This small remote village where my father was born used to belong to Cambodia in the 70s. Today, to village finds itself inside Vietnamese territory due to encroachments of Cambodian border by Vietnam. To get there, we had to bribe the Vietnamese border guards. Once there, my father showed me all the places he attended and played with his siblings. Today, Vietnamese families are investing not only in the village but also in the towns along the border. Many of them have settled in Cambodia.
While returning to today’s Cambodian territory, we stopped at a stall to eat fried bananas. After this break, we walked quietly for sightseeing the place, suddenly we heard a Vietnamese discussion held between Vietnamese women and a man who looks like someone important. The Vietnamese women living in Cambodian territory expressed their fear of having to abandon their homes if the Prime Minister Hun Sen had to renegotiate the border treaty with Vietnam. The man reassured the women by saying: "Don’t worry. Hun Sen is our guard dog. He is obedient. We tamed him well. He will do what we tell him to do. Furthermore, his people will admire him even more as a hero. "
My father was frightened and his face turned pale. He quietly ordered me not to utter a word in Vietnamese and offered me to leave quickly for Phnom Penh. On the road, my father told me that this man is a senior of the Vietnamese associations in Cambodia, and that it was essentially for us to leave the place in case he could perceive that we understood his discussion. You'll never guess it. A week later, we saw this man accidentally in Siem Reap. I wanted to take his picture from a distance but my father grabbed my hand to stop me.
Throughout my journey, the contemptuous words used by this man towards the Cambodian Prime Minister constantly came back to my mind. How can this man consider Prime Minister Hun Sen as his guard dog? His comments show his contempt and it also shows the extent of the Vietnamese influence on Prime Minister Hun Sen who is a merely a guard dog for them. This is unacceptable!

Hun Xen the dog and his master.
Yeah he bites and barks.
All us Khmers, time to wake up and rise up. It's better to die on our feet than to live on our knees.
A little skeptic of the story. The viet are tricky and crafty to show such rhetoric aloud in public. I believe the encroaching part but don't buy the coincide of same man in Siem Reap.
Sophie,
While I understand your digust for the encroachment of the Vietnamese, and the contempt you have for their behaviour in srok Khmer, I also say without reservation that it is the timid behaviour of our countrymen that allows the Vietnamese to do as they do. From Hun Sen's barbaric acts on his own people in order to please his masters, to your father timid, almost cowardly, behaviour in stopping you taking photos of the "senior" Vietnamese that give them so much freedom to do as they please. please tell us why your father stopped you from taking photos? You both were in Khmer territory, and one assumes that you would be smart enough to conceal your activity. So why so scared? IS it right to be so scared in your own country? If I were you Sophie, I would be embarrassed to admit what you just amitted to. What's the point of your article? To tell the world that you are upset about Vietnamese encroachment? We are all aware of the encroachment, and are extremely upset. You were in a position to do something about it, even just a photo to show who this man is, and maybe blow his cover as a spy, and you were too eager to save your own skin to do it. And now you are here to show us that you are a patriot? You can't even lift a camera, and you want us believe that you will able to lift a stick, or a knife, or a gun to stand beside Cambodia if push comes to shove? I highly doubt that, and I highly doubt your motive in writing this article.
Hun Sen is a VN puppet, VN encroachment on Cambodia land and mass illegal of Vitetnamese to Cambodia, All of these manay Cambodian people knew including Hun Sen himself and his gang.
No new news!!!
I would like to know further whether it is true or just rumor that Hun Sen has secretly signed a MOU with VN to allow VN to send its troops to control up to 100 KM from the current decarmation border when he is about to lose position by either simply votes or a coup. That's going to be the big news to be circulated
MR HUN SEN= DÉHOCHIMING= LE PARRAIN DE LA MAFIA KHMER= MR K5=CRIMINEL DE PISSETH PILIKA= COUP D'ÉTAT= MR ANTIDÉMOCRATIQUE ENDOCTRINÉ PAR YOUN=MR ENNEMI DE SON PEUPLE CAR, IL A COMMIT TANT DE CRIMES.LA MAIN DE MR DÉCHOCHIMING HUN SEN EST BAIGNÉE DU SANG DES PAUVRES INNOCENES KHMERS ET DES MOTS NE SERAIT PAS EXPRIMÉS..............

My uncle was a POW. I believed everything Sophy said. Everything can be possible. Why not if Cambodia is such a small country? The Vietnamese spoke openly in the public how they'd take Cambodia.
