My testimony reported from Cambodia
On my second trip to Cambodia, I crossed Bavet with my father to visit a small village a little further from the local market. This small remote village where my father was born used to belong to Cambodia in the 70s. Today, to village finds itself inside Vietnamese territory due to encroachments of Cambodian border by Vietnam. To get there, we had to bribe the Vietnamese border guards. Once there, my father showed me all the places he attended and played with his siblings. Today, Vietnamese families are investing not only in the village but also in the towns along the border. Many of them have settled in Cambodia.
While returning to today’s Cambodian territory, we stopped at a stall to eat fried bananas. After this break, we walked quietly for sightseeing the place, suddenly we heard a Vietnamese discussion held between Vietnamese women and a man who looks like someone important. The Vietnamese women living in Cambodian territory expressed their fear of having to abandon their homes if the Prime Minister Hun Sen had to renegotiate the border treaty with Vietnam. The man reassured the women by saying: "Don’t worry. Hun Sen is our guard dog. He is obedient. We tamed him well. He will do what we tell him to do. Furthermore, his people will admire him even more as a hero. "
My father was frightened and his face turned pale. He quietly ordered me not to utter a word in Vietnamese and offered me to leave quickly for Phnom Penh. On the road, my father told me that this man is a senior of the Vietnamese associations in Cambodia, and that it was essentially for us to leave the place in case he could perceive that we understood his discussion. You'll never guess it. A week later, we saw this man accidentally in Siem Reap. I wanted to take his picture from a distance but my father grabbed my hand to stop me.
Throughout my journey, the contemptuous words used by this man towards the Cambodian Prime Minister constantly came back to my mind. How can this man consider Prime Minister Hun Sen as his guard dog? His comments show his contempt and it also shows the extent of the Vietnamese influence on Prime Minister Hun Sen who is a merely a guard dog for them. This is unacceptable!

Why Most Khmer in Cambodia dont believe this on know this? Hun Sen is VC Guard Dog. To all Khmer this coming Election go and Vote do each others a favor and vote for a new PM to save to country. tried and tried.
Ordinary ragtag Viet people might kowtow in front of Hun Sen but behind his back they regard him as their stupid dog.
Remember Hun Sen acts tough only against Khmer, but he turns into a chicken when he has to face against even the ordinary illegal Viet living in Cambodia.
I wonder besides the Viet living in Cambodia, how many more stupid Khmer will vote for him?
