If Sam Rainsy does not put his foot in his mouth soon, he will end his political career in no time. Unless Sam Rainsy denies what was reported by The Cambodia Daily on Monday 6 February 2012, saying that “speaking about recent political developments in Burma, Mr. Rainsy compared his situation as Cambodia opposition leader to that of Burmese pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi,” as wrong, imaginative and fabricated, Sam Rainsy is unquestionably in a hot seat.

For the moment, we take the report by The Cambodia Daily at face-value. It means exactly and convincingly that Sam Rainsy does not know how to keep score of his political balance sheet. He does not know where to record his political assets and liabilities. Before he opens his mouth, it is a cardinal rule for a supposedly political leader that he needs to check his records against those of Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi. Ask anyone, in the whole wide world, even his fair-minded backers and sympathizers, even members of the Sam Rainsy Party (SRP) leadership none would have had the temerity to compare Sam Rainsy to Burmese pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi, under any situation. This is crystal clear evidence that Sam Rainsy is unprincipled and incapable of clear thinking and lucid judgment. He is a danger to himself and others in the SRP. He feels more comfortable with his being the head of the opposition SRP, but he is totally inconsiderate with regard to the SRP as a political party.

Sam Rainsy is inconsistent and volatile. Since his self-exile abroad to avoid prison term, he had spoken many times that an election for office in Cambodia without the physical presence of Sam Rainsy is wrong, unlawful and unacceptable. But the projected gain of Senate seats due to mathematical apportionment, even though in terms of support of the national and grass-root core leaders among SRP members of the National Assembly and SRP members of the Commune Council the SRP lost 179 votes suit him very well and give him reasons to accept the result, and as such to applaud the process. Sam Rainsy various critical statements against the National Election Committee (NEC), against many universal and non-universal elections that took place in Cambodia in the past have been proven to be simply charade after charade for attention. He can say as many times as he wanted that Cambodia is “worse” than Burma, as reported by the Cambodia Daily. It is meaningless. It is hollow.

The lack of logic in what Sam Rainsy was doing, and in what he was saying is obvious and revealing, such as in the case of: a) pulling and removing border markers used to locate the boundary line in Svay Rieng province rather than proceed with press coverage, parliamentarian procedures, and other legal and rational means, and b) begging for forgiveness from Samdech Techo Hun Sen after launching extremely mean and acerbic verbal accusations nationally and abroad. To make this point, it is more than proper to reproduce an unofficial translation of the content of Sam Rainsy’s letter date 03 February 2006, which said: “I regret for all my wrongdoings against Samdech, such as my accusation of Samdech for being behind the grenades attack on demonstrators in front of the National Assembly on 30 June 1997, for attempting to assassinate 5 high ranking personalities, and other unfounded accusations, and etc….etc…..”. Sam Rainsy, then continued: “From today on I will change my attitude in order to terminate those problems and prevent these kinds of problems from recurring.” Therefore, it is the job of the psycho-analyst to pronounce on the state of mind of Sam Rainsy. The Press and Quick Reaction Unit (PRU) were just doing the job of bringing up the fact and the truth to the attention of the public and especially to members of the SRP.

At this pace, it is likely to be a “dump Sam Rainsy” movement hatching out of the anger of the leaders and members of SRP.

3:15 PM - You are completely brainwashed and became CPP Yuon/Hun Sen dog! Your comment is no different from your Communist CPP Yuon and Viet. Keep barking and then you lose! Why are you still here in Cambodia to enjoy your freedom to illegally play the dirty politics and fool Khmer people. You scumbag!

Sam Rainsy has done a good job to help Khmer farmers and innocent Khmer people who lost land to illegal Yuon settlers, Viet crooks and Vietnamese masters under Hun Sen's power was illegally installed by Vietnamese masters from Hanoi.

Sam Rainsy had done a good job to claim that Vietnam has not respects to 1991 Peace Agreement in Paris and Hun Sen did not understand the 1991 Peace agreement by letting Vietnam interfere the affair of Cambodia.

Do you understand that, Mr. Idiot!

Hey Pro CPP 3:15 PM,
Thank you for your analysis; let me ask you a candid question. How much did they pay you to provide such ample research of democracy leaders (especially Sam Raingsy) and to share it with the plublic?
Because to me, Sam Raingsy's actions speak a lot louder than your stupid analysis or your stupid leaders (The Three Monkies), you know what I mean, you are a smart political analyst.
I have to agree with Khmer Yeurng.
