A National Seminar on ASEAN Awareness is targeting over 3,500 universities students this week in Koh Pich, Phnom Penh. The Seminar will feature H.E. Mr Hor Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia; H.E. Dr Cham Prasidh, Senior Minister of The Ministry of Commerce; and H.E. Mr Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister Advisor to Prime Minister Samdech and Minister for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC).
ASEAN Secretariat is on site, ready to help boost the spirit at the National Seminar with 3,500 ASEAN T-shirts, hand-flags, publications. Upon arrival to Cambodia International Airport Mr. Keo Chhea, Head of External Relations Division 1 from ASEAN Secretariat handed over the consignments to H.E. Mr Cheth Naren, Director General of ASEAN in Cambodia.
ASEAN Secretariat is also providing sets of books on ASEAN to be given to libraries of universities in Cambodia. Officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy and Finance, and other ministries of Cambodia will participate in this event.
