Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) — The International Kim Il Sung Prize Council on January 15 decided to award International Kim Il Sung Prize to Cambodian Great King Norodom Sihanouk on the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun).
Norodom Sihanouk greatly contributed to defending the sovereignty of the nation, achieving the prosperity of the Cambodian people and the world peace and strengthening friendship and solidarity among the peoples.

YEP, Sihanouk deserves to have this award for what he has done for supporting and bringing Khmer Rouge to rule Cambodia and what the Khmer Rouge did on Khmer people.
Nobel Peace Prize, he doesn't even come close and don't even dream about this.

oh Cambodia.....what a fcuking mess. beautiful cutures, gentle people, plenty of natural resources yet the most backward people in southeast asia. for god's sake we were an empire...c'mom there must be a capable khmer leaders exist surely.
