PHNOM PENH -- China's Hainan Ruijin Investment Holding Group planned to invest in rice plantation, cow farm and tourism development in Cambodia, the group's chairman Pan Xiaoping said Wednesday.
Pan said during a meeting with Heng Samrin, president of Cambodia's National Assembly that his company decided to establish an overseas branch office in Cambodia to focus on the three projects.
Pan did not say when the projects will be started.
Heng Samrin pledged full support for those projects, which he said will be good to boost the development of Cambodia's economy.
"Foreign investment is a key factor to accelerate economic development in Cambodia," he said.

i think the eviction is not the development itself, it's the greedy people's way of getting the piece of the economic pie, really! so don't blame the development, it's the greedy people who scramble to stake piece of the economic pie that development will bring to cambodia, really! there is no turning back in economic growth and developments in cambodia, you know. god bless my country cambodia always.
everywhere there are development slated, the greedy people always clinging on to their part in the benefit it brings to their areas, province, village, etc, etc. that's what it is. it is what it is, ok! stop being so greedy, ok! there are more to cambodia than you and i, ok!

don't be stupid forever, people. it takes smart, educated, experienced leadersship to see the benefit of development in my country cambodia. the peasant or ignorant or uneducated or primitive people cannot see or understand the long-term benefit, that's why cambodia cannot let primitive, uneducated, ignorant people have too much saying in gov't because they are stupid to understand the benefit for the rest of cambodia, not just for them and their greedy, incompetent family, ok! to get something from it, something else got to give, really. stop being stupid, ignorant, primitive forever, ok. there are more to cambodia than just some group of primitive people, really! look around the world, don't be stupid and primitive forever, ok!
