"20 years sentence just for some words allegedly been spoken" After the agreement of Paris from the October 23, 1991. The Cambodia people were under the impression the light of freedom and democracy will appear in the Kingdom. After 20 years under the reign of the same despot Hun Sen former Khmer rouge Democracy has turned into a lost illusion. The rule of dictatorship imbeded in permanent corruption eliminates everyone who dares to express the truth and reality. Since the unjustifiable conviction of Mr.Mam Sonando (20 years sentence just for some words allegedly been spoken ) president of the only existing independent popular Beehive radio station and also president of the "Association of Democracy" all hopes of democracy for this country are definitively lost. Cambodia has no more freedom of opinion and expression.
