Hun sen was a peon when Sihanouk secretly set up Sihanouk Trails and killed off Cambodian independence patriots including the Democrats to facilitate the Vietnamisation of Cambodia, Pol Pot benefit from the NVA and the VC invasion of Cambodia in the 70's, gained combat strenght in late 1973 because Sihanouk was barking from Peking to entice Cambodian to joint the liberation front which led by Pol Pot, as for Sihanouk he was the Arm Chair Generalismo in Peking same same as it was during the so called Independence struggle for Independence from France in the earlier 50's . His majesty was hoping that the Yuon will remain indebt to him so he can continue to reign and rule Cambodia like his personal subject. Sihanouk spend most of his life destroying whatever crop on intelligence rise in Cambodia. In the 50's and 60's those who were educated and could tell right from wrong were chastised, branded as Khmer Bleu or Khmer Rouge and were condemned to life a broad or join the Communist. People like you have short fuse do not know the real story, please read the real history of Cambodia or Cambodian history from the 40's to date.

Yes, true that! what I don't understand is, why people mourn for him, after what he had done? He was so arrogant and self-centred person and no one dare to look at him in the eyes and he loved that. He loved power and abuse. He was a sick headed person. He was a flip flopper and he did not know which role he was supposed to perform, a playboy, politician, movie star, womaniser?????psychopath is.
