Yes, we must earn the trust, respect, and votes.
Our diplomats around the world need to shift their "counter attack" or defensive mentality and approach to one that appreciates and acknowledges shortcomings, and is responsible to take constructive criticism.
It is a long shot for sure, but the government and leadership cannot afford to keep their head in the sand too much longer without risking to be left behind other countries in the world. Who would trust Cambodia to participate in world security discussion, if the country is still dependent on foreign donation year, after year, and having the same old stale leadership election, after election!
