ដែលនៅចន្លោះ ខ្សែទឹកពីរ បណ្ដាលអោយសំពៅ កឿងនៅទីនោះទៅ។ ក្បាលសំពៅ នៅជាប់នឹងថ្កល់;
Acts 27
Paul Sails for Rome
When it was decided that we would sail for Italy, Paul and some other prisoners were handed over to a centurion named Julius, who belonged to the Imperial Regiment. 2 We boarded a ship from Adramyttium about to sail for ports along the coast of the province of Asia, and we put out to sea. Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, was with us.
3 The next day we landed at Sidon; and Julius, in kindness to Paul, allowed him to go to his friends so they might provide for his needs. 4 From there we put out to sea again and passed to the lee of Cyprus because the winds were against us. 5 When we had sailed across the open sea off the coast of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we landed at Myra in Lycia. 6 There the centurion found an Alexandrian ship sailing for Italy and put us on board. 7 We made slow headway for many days and had difficulty arriving off Cnidus. When the wind did not allow us to hold our course, we sailed to the lee of Crete, opposite Salmone. 8 We moved along the coast with difficulty and came to a place called Fair Havens, near the town of Lasea.
9 Much time had been lost, and sailing had already become dangerous because by now it was after the Day of Atonement.[a] So Paul warned them, 10 “Men, I can see that our voyage is going to be disastrous and bring great loss to ship and cargo, and to our own lives also.” 11 But the centurion, instead of listening to what Paul said, followed the advice of the pilot and of the owner of the ship. 12 Since
the harbor was unsuitable to winter in, the majority decided that we
should sail on, hoping to reach Phoenix and winter there. This was a
harbor in Crete, facing both southwest and northwest.
The Storm
13 When a gentle south wind began to blow, they saw their opportunity; so they weighed anchor and sailed along the shore of Crete. 14 Before very long, a wind of hurricane force, called the Northeaster, swept down from the island. 15 The ship was caught by the storm and could not head into the wind; so we gave way to it and were driven along. 16 As we passed to the lee of a small island called Cauda, we were hardly able to make the lifeboat secure, 17 so
the men hoisted it aboard. Then they passed ropes under the ship itself
to hold it together. Because they were afraid they would run aground on the sandbars of Syrtis, they lowered the sea anchor[b] and let the ship be driven along. 18 We took such a violent battering from the storm that the next day they began to throw the cargo overboard. 19 On the third day, they threw the ship’s tackle overboard with their own hands. 20 When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved.
21 After they had gone a long time without food, Paul stood up before them and said: “Men, you should have taken my advice not to sail from Crete; then you would have spared yourselves this damage and loss. 22 But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed. 23 Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me 24 and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’ 25 So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me. 26 Nevertheless, we must run aground on some island.”
The Shipwreck
27 On the fourteenth night we were still being driven across the Adriatic[c] Sea, when about midnight the sailors sensed they were approaching land. 28 They took soundings and found that the water was a hundred and twenty feet[d] deep. A short time later they took soundings again and found it was ninety feet[e] deep. 29 Fearing that we would be dashed against the rocks, they dropped four anchors from the stern and prayed for daylight. 30 In an attempt to escape from the ship, the sailors let the lifeboat down into the sea, pretending they were going to lower some anchors from the bow. 31 Then Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, “Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved.” 32 So the soldiers cut the ropes that held the lifeboat and let it drift away.
33 Just
before dawn Paul urged them all to eat. “For the last fourteen days,”
he said, “you have been in constant suspense and have gone without
food—you haven’t eaten anything. 34 Now I urge you to take some food. You need it to survive. Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head.” 35 After he said this, he took some bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all. Then he broke it and began to eat. 36 They were all encouraged and ate some food themselves. 37 Altogether there were 276 of us on board. 38 When they had eaten as much as they wanted, they lightened the ship by throwing the grain into the sea.
39 When daylight came, they did not recognize the land, but they saw a bay with a sandy beach, where they decided to run the ship aground if they could. 40 Cutting loose the anchors,
they left them in the sea and at the same time untied the ropes that
held the rudders. Then they hoisted the foresail to the wind and made
for the beach. 41 But
the ship struck a sandbar and ran aground. The bow stuck fast and would
not move, and the stern was broken to pieces by the pounding of the
surf.
42 The soldiers planned to kill the prisoners to prevent any of them from swimming away and escaping. 43 But the centurion wanted to spare Paul’s life and kept them from carrying out their plan. He ordered those who could swim to jump overboard first and get to land. 44 The rest were to get there on planks or on other pieces of the ship. In this way everyone reached land safely.

A former Catholic brother facing charges of sexually abusing dozens of children has fled to Sri Lanka after tardy extradition attempts to bring him back from New Zealand where he had been living, says Fairfax Media.
The paper says former St John of God brother Bernard Kevin McGrath, who had served two years in a New Zealand jail for sexually abusing boys there, had 252 abuse charges laid against him in a Newcastle court on June 27.
It says the 65-year-old is alleged to have repeatedly raped, molested and abused dozens of young boys at church-run institutions in the Newcastle-Maitland diocese during the late 1970s and '80s.
NSW police were meant to extradite McGrath to Australia from New Zealand to face charges, but he was allowed to fly out of New Zealand some time after the charges were lodged, Fairfax said.
McGrath is now on a tea plantation in Sri Lanka, where Australia has no extradition treaty.
A very religious man lived right next door to an atheist. While
the religious one prayed day in, day out, and was constantly on
his knees in communion with his Lord, the atheist never even
looked twice at a church.
However, the atheist's life was good, he had a well-paying job
and a beautiful wife, and his children were healthy and good-
natured, whereas the pious man's job was strenuous and his
wages were low, his wife was getting fatter every day and his
kids wouldn't give him the time of the day.
So one day, deep in prayer as usual, he raised his eyes
towards heaven and asked:
"Oh God, I honour you every day, I ask your advice for every
problem and confess to you my every sin. Yet my neighbour,
who doesn't even believe in you and certainly never prays,
seems blessed with every happiness, while I go poor and
suffer many an indignity. Why is this?"
And a great voice was heard from above:
"BECAUSE HE DOESN'T BOTHER ME ALL THE TIME!"
Little Johnny's is coming home from the store swinging the loaf
of bread in one hand and the other hand in his pants pocket.
Along come Priest Joe and he thinks to himself, "This is a good
opportunity to say something from the bible to Little Johnny."
He walks up to Little Johnny and says, "I see Little Johnny that
you have the Staff of Life in one hand. What do you have in the
other?"
Little Johnny replies, "A loaf of bread Father."
A group of biblical scholars were involved in a heated discussion about how Jesus of Nazareth
was named. How did he become known as the Messiah, or Christ. One of the scholars argued that
the name was a Greek corruption of Aramaic, and purists and fundamentalists ought to use the
name Joshua. Another argued that Joshua was Hebrew, not Aramaic, to which a third argued that
Hebrew should be used because Jesus was said to be the King of the Jews. The debate went on
and on and became more and more sophisticated and obtuse. Finally, an old man known for his
wisdom intervened. He informed the group that he knew how Jesus was named. When Jesus was born,
a star shown in the sky, and three wise men from the East travelled to Bethlehem. They had
travelled for days, suffered great deprivation, and when they finally got to Bethlehem got
lost trying to find the manger. Finally, after much ado, and in rather foul moods, they
reached the manger and entered the stall. As one of them came through the door, he tripped on
the door sill, and fell into the wall hitting his head. "Jesus Christ!" he screamed, and
that is how the baby was named.
Lord,
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I cannot accept,
And the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people
I had to kill today because they pissed me off.
And, help me to be careful
Of the toes I step on today as they
May be connected to the ass
That I might have to kiss tomorrow.
Amen.
Do you know a compture term was known to Abraham before comptures was invented? God will provide a ram! Thought you guys were smart?
Yeshua in Hebrew means Salvation.
What do the Cambodian people needed more, Democrazy or salvation?
Salvation means deliverance.
Humanity has been bitten by a poisonous serpent and there is no cure for the poison, except through the atoning blood of Yeshua, the Messiah.

:) Cambodians are about 6-7 millions the rest are Vietnamese, and those Vietnamese are Sok Kong, Chhean Vung, Svay Sitha, Mein Sam-Ann....just name a few.
Cambodians are minority and they are deeply brainwashed by everything, they are the stupid beast creatures.
How would they know what is Salvation or what is Democracy?
That was why they got the 3 monkeys in power.
When 99% Cambodians are idiots, 1% Cambodian genius cannot help them.
The wheel of the world keeps moving, a few Cambodians less than 10 millions who cares?
This year world population is 7 billion and if we remove 10 million beast Cambodians, the world will save spaces and food for the smart people like Vietnamese, Thais or Chinese or Japanese, Africans, and/or the west.
Cambodia/Kampuchea has been influenced by Hinduism, Brahmanism and Buddhism from India. Even if they claimed to be Buddhists, their rituals are toward Hinduism and Brahmanism. Because Buddhism was born from both Brahmanism and Hinduism.
Thailand, Laos and Burma now Myanmar are Buddhists, but the facts that these 2 small nations, the Buddhists are under controlled by their dictator leaders.
The facts, Cambodia and Laos are on the same boat, the Buddhist temples must collect cash to pay/feed the Vietnamese mighty army.
It is good thing that Cambodia and Thailand allow people to choose any religion the people believe. Unlike Cambodia and Thailand, Burma's leaders are butchers. Laos? it has about 4 millions and among them are Vietnamese, so Buddhists in Laos is too small.
Hinduism, Brahmanism and Buddhism altogether has continued to decline and even disappeared in Indonesia, Brunei and Malaysia.
Buddhism declines, Hinduism rises. May be it has something to do with impossible Dharma. In Japan, Buddhism is dying and it is going to be dead very soon.
"It's just theological. I had no problems with the church or the structure or the organization. There are basically four steps that occurred over a long period of time. One was the contradictory nature of the Bible; the lack of scientific or historical foundation or accuracy, which took me a very, very long time to come to terms with. That was the starting point I guess when I realized that that wasn't true, that the Bible wasn't true. From there I moved to thinking about all of the religions in the world and how people basically associate, in most cases, with one religion or another based upon their own culture and how they were raised," she said.
"So I kind of moved into a position where I thought that all religions were equally valid and that it kind of depended on who you were and how you were raised but that we were all on the same journey. From there I moved to the question of the existence of hell and trying to understand how a supreme being could create humans that according to the Christian Bible are very weak and finite, as compared to God. How that creature, being, entity, whatever you want to call it, could punish them eternally in such a horrible and torturous place as hell. So that was kind of a third discovery."
