Just a suggestion; and maybe I'm alone in this: the newly merged party's logo is the right kind of idea, but I feel it can be adjusted with added images to make it more recognisably Khmer or Cambodian. As it stands it is rather too contrived and artificial to draw people's attention or appeal to their consciousness and national pride.
The CPP uses the figure of a blessing Tevada - angel - to appeal to the Khmer people because it is a comforting religious and cultural symbolism that readily relates to their consciousness and needs, especially, in time of want and uncertainty, like the need to pray and ask for external intervention from a divine being or god, even if the idea of religion as such is an anathema to the core CPP ideology.
It should at least be more artistic in terms of drawing inspirations or models from Cambodia's rich ancient heritage such as temple carvings, written text or calligraphy etc., or just something authentically Khmer in symbolism and appeal.
OK, if everybody is happy with the current symbol, that's fine! After all, I am not even a party member!
NB: I think the circle of rays around the sun should be removed or be replaced with something more congenial and 'artistic' to the eyes. They make the logo itself look rather 'tacky' and 'foreign' to a people, the vast majority of whom have yet to integrate to the internet culture or photo shop.
Never underestimate the potent power of a logo!

It's good enough without any correction. The sun with rays is a real logo of the party but adding the pictures of the president and vice president just help to enforce the logo to be more effective. Because all the people may not know the logo yet but they know Mr. Sam Raisey and Mr. Kim Sokha very well through the past 20 years in political stage.The Only way to save our motherland is to unite all Khmer in one single force. This the positive start that we have wait to see more than two decades. We wish The CNRP unite with the other 7 smaller parties so that we can draw a clear line between the Yuon created CPP and the CNRP. Bravo Khmer Nation!!
