That is true. I walk through Khmer markets across Cambodia and it was so painful to see 90% of it contain of vegetable and fruits that used to be grown by Khmer people in Cambodia was completely replace by the ones imported from Vietnam( except chek nam va, papaya, coconuts, pumkin and few other. I asked the sellers, why don't they sell don't they sell Khmer fruitsy and vegetable; they said our products, if it happens to have, don't look good(in color and quality) and also can not be kept for many days. That means a lot of chemical and hormones has been ued in the process of growing and preserving. Exemple for durian (PHLEA TOU REN)before exporting to Cambodia, Thai merchands soaked durian in a tank of formol (the chemical used to inject to the body of dead person in order not to let it spoil for many days during the funeral ceremony).
To the questions that if Doctor Sarun and Doctor Hun Sen, Doctor Heng Samrin, Doctor Cheam Yeap, Doctor Nguon Nhel etc care about that ?
I don't think so !
