So true!!! which mean most political leaders in the poor country would follow and killed their own people as if nothing is wrong, But not in a democratic countries where no one is above the law and that is why liberal democracy is the best policy in the world.

As for those who are working against the law, or takes the law into their own hands like Kingta, Pol Pot, Lon Nol, Hun sen (1997 coup and murdered in k5) Hitler, Gaddhafi, Hunsien, Tunisia, Afga etc, ended up paying the price at the end of the day, since 'justice will be done on earth and in haven' or 'you can run but you can't hide'...' what goes around, comes around' ... 'Karma'.

These are a universal law. Time will catch up with them eventually. So, 'why do bad things in the first place when you can choose to do good things'...for life is too short, might as well do good....Jesus. Buddha, Muslim and from the believe of all other religions.

Power by itself does not corrupt but fear of losing it is:

"It is not power that corrupts but fear. Fear of losing power corrupts those who wield it and fear of the scourge of power corrupts those who are subject to it."
