Cambodia's Sam Rainsy to return for election

Robert Carmichael in Phnom Penh
   ABC Online 07/08/2013
Veteran Cambodian opposition leader Sam Rainsy, who has lived in exile since 2009, has announced he will return in time for the country's general election.
With the general election scheduled for 28 July he has not set a date for his return, saying only that he would be in country by the day of the election.
Sam Rainsy insists he is prepared to go to jail if necessary.
The opposition leader left Cambodia for exile in France in 2009 ahead of two court cases that saw him handed an 11 year jail sentence.
His supporters say the charges were politically motivated, designed to rid Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen of his most significant challenger.
The Cambodian government says it has not received a request for a royal pardon, and insists that the courts ought to carry out their responsibility should he return.
International pressure is building on Cambodia, particularly in the US where Congress is to hold hearings on the political situation this week.

From RFA:

Which party will win or lose will not matter, but if Hun Sen will continue to be PM after the election the US will cut the aid.
Human Rights Watch and the US don’t want to see Hun Sen as PM anymore.
And Ah Phay Siphom is crying…

Sam Rainsy will be arested for sure
The big questions are: Does he has any plan how to get out of prison. Does he expect the populaton and the world are going to outcry to demand his release? Does he hope that his arrest will galvernize people to vote for CNRP to win over CPP.
Does he expect Hun Sen willing to strike a deal with him.
Does he believe the King will intervene?
Does he want to try to test how hard jail is for him?
If he has these answer rights he should step foot to Cambodia tomorrow. If he doesn't have clear answers then he willings to take risk to wear blue uniform. Sure he will eventually be released, No question about this.
