Re: Rally at United Nations Headquarters, New York City

Based on the heated situation in Cambodia today, such as problem related to human rights, political instability and recent countless voting irregularities, we the Cambodia National Rescue Party’s Chapter of Pennsylvania would like to invite all colleagues, friends, compatriots and the public at large to join the upcoming public mass rally to urge the United Nations and International Community to pressure the Cambodian government to honor its commitments to the 1991 Paris Peace Agreement and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and to end the on-going erosion of civil liberties and systematic human rights violations. The rally will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at United Nations Headquarters in New York City, 1st Avenue and East 47th Street.

Cambodia is systematically moving away from democracy and from its international obligations signed under the Paris Peace Agreement over two decades ago on October 23, 1991. Therefore, we call upon the United Nations and the Signatory Countries to honor their commitments by taking the necessary actions to enforce their agreements concerning Human Rights, Sovereignty, Independence, Neutrality and the National Unity of Cambodia.

We encourage all Khmer compatriots to put our differences aside, donate one day of your precious time to join hand and fight for democracy of our motherland. Our country needs you. United we stand!

Agenda:

1:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Gathering, informing assignments and the mission of the rally.

1:30PM - 2:00 PM: Rally begins. Singing national anthem and speakers from various communities express their concerns regarding past and current issues in Cambodia which violated the Paris Peace Agreement and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the Cambodian government.

If CPP want to do anything they want it will not working this time, because this is the people power.

Election investigations must allow NGO and UN play full role regardless the Cambodia law if apply.
However NEC must agree with CNRP because NEC had broken the law by removed over one million names from the voter lists and 200,000 names duplication votes. By law NEC should be neutrally.
In the past 20 years NEC had been stole the people votes from opposition’s parties and gave to Hun Sen party that is why Hun Sen won the elections all the times.

Hello guys, Remember we must fight to develop Cambodia. In democratic country, the peaceful demonstration is the right way to boycott government unrealistic rules to people... However, we shouldn’t do a favor to Vietcong, etc. If those negative guys talk good about Hun Sen, I advise you to move out from free country and you should live with Hun Sen’s government. Sometimes, you’re feeling the heat until you’ve burned it…. Big Thank, MC
