Thank you.

Glad you like the song. Every time I listen to it I could feel people's hope, heartache and emotions.

It is one of the most moving sounds from the Golden Era of Khmer music, and not surprisingly, among the best loved.

Dear School of Vice,

I can say I'm of biggest fans of Golden Memories. Besides smote and Indian songs [did I say Indian? Oh, well!] these are the only songs I listen to. And of course, Khmer patriotic songs, I love most, more than anything, although I don't like violence. That means you must post at least one song, every single day :)

PS: Attackers/haters are sleeping peacefully or busy watching my online activities behind the screen today. That means, I can come sit here and listen to this song ten more times. ~Kingdom of Jampa

The song recalled the old memories. It was so sad at the time. The Viet Cong were very very well armed by China ,so skilful in fighting and outnumbered former Khmer Royal Army, armed with old World War I and World War II guns. Because Cambodia was never be prepared for a war, untrained young Khmer volunteers was sent to the battlefield to be easily shouted down by the experienced Viet. We all listening to this song with tears, because we were losing ground to our historic enemy;the Viet Cong. This song also was playing to encourage all Khmer to stand up to defend their country against Vietnamese invasion while in the radio broadcasting from Peking, our Samdach Ov called to the Khmer people to go to <> to join with the Viet to fight back with the Khmer Royal Armed Forces, to bring him back. Khmer got lost. If everyone Khmer has go to Prey Maki? Where is that? The one who didn't go was accused as traitor, and when the Khmer Rouge won the war.
History prove that Vietnam always can convert invasion war to civil war in Khmer territory.
It also proves that, Vietnam don't need to directly get involved; they can use Khmer hands to spill Khmer Blood.
It's time for all Khmer to be smarter !

Not sure whether the readers want to see the poster's picture in their face all the time just as Theary Seng's picture is annoying them?
Maybe there is still a chance to spare KI-Media from its sudden state of defunct/demise yet?

Dear School of Vice,

The new song you just added to this post, by our Legendary singer Mr. Sin Sisamuth is very beautiful. A very popular song in the old day, maybe around my high school year. One of the most popular songs requested by audience on the radio show. I'm so glad you take some of your valuable time to find these songs for KI readers. ~Jendhamuni

Dear School of Vice,

PS: I promise, I will not argue with anyone on KI, especially via your posts anymore. It's because I have already received enough info for my case. Case is closed now. No further investigation. I hate it so much when I am always right:) Oh, well! I was born that way :)

Dear Anonymous,

I only promised School of Vice not to argue with anyone via his post, but I did not promise him that I would not give anyone a lecture. This is the last time I'm speaking to you because I want you to know that I am aware of who you are, even though you sign into KI to comment as Anonymous on many occasions pretending to be someone different each time. Many times, you are the same exact person, playing different character because you cannot handle my kindness and compassion I have towards others. I am not like you. I am always Jendhamuni. You maybe able to fool eveyone in the entire world. But never ever assume you could fool Jendhamuni - NEVER! I am well-trained by all my great masters. A person who does not love fame, power and wealth like myself cannot be fooled.

I am leaving you with this word and prove me wrong: Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.~Buddha

PS: Your heart is full of greed and hatred, I hope you are able to sleep every night. Because you think you are a mountain, don't forget: the grass is higher than the mountain.

Again, the last time I'm speaking to you.

Live in Peace,
jendhamuni

my father was one of the earliest Khmer soldiers to die in the war with the Viets. Watching the video, I wonder how many of those brave women, boys and men have survived to this day. They were the true patriots.
