I also have one set of clothes as well. One blue shorts and one white (short sleeve) shirt for the whole ( calendar) years of school. The good old day. Lol
in Khmer language , green is the sub-color of blue. another word , green is also blue.

It's an interesting concept though, but I suspect that the confusion came during the time when Thailand subjugated the western part of Cambodia. "Khiev" refers to green color in Thai language. People are mixed with this color reference and they don't realize how they damaged Khmer language and culture. We have to look at other confused terms to clarify the mistake once our country gets back into social order.
I love what you have pointed out. I love Khmer language very much. I never speak English at home -- only at work because I don't have anyone to speak Khmer with. I believe I love Khmer language more than many Khmers [although you know where I came from] :) I am a big fan of His Holiness Chuon Nath. He's my role model. I am still learning so much from him every day.

Dear 9:37 PM,
Wow, green? Never thought of that. I was looking for a pink one, but that must go with long black hair. I don't like short hair ;)
Only the chumteav can afford them.
Jhenda,
you'll look perfect in Purple or Preeng Tum. :))
Jendhamuni,
The cloth you wear in the picture, which day was it?
Dear 12:33 AM,
It was taken on 8/22/13
