On 30 October 2011, during the country’s celebration of his 90th birthday anniversary and the 20th anniversary of his homecoming, Hero-king Norodom Sihanouk said that Cambodia is developing more and more strongly because of the ruling by Hun Xen, the government leader, and it cannot go backward, nor can it be broken apart.

The famous Hero-king, father of the nation and of the Cambodian kingdoom, added from the royal tribune: “I warmly praise our Luong (king) who strives to serve the nation which is developing and clean, I warmly praise Samd-ach Hoon Xhen, the prime minister, whose achievements for the nation and the people are innumerable, and they keep on developing for the nation and the people on a daily-basis.

On 29 August 2009, King-Father and Queen-Mother authorized Chumteav Bun Rany Hun Xen, the wife of PM Hun Xen and president of the Cambodian Red Cross, to visit them at their Siem Reap royal palace (information gleaned from TVK on 29-08-2009).

During this occasion, King-Father thanked Chumteav Bun Rany Hun Xen and he also thanked her husband who led the country to prosperity in all fields, and he also defended the territorial integrity.

The ex-king gave a personal gift of $5,000 to the chumteav, as well as $5,000 to the Cambodian Red Cross presided by the chumteav.

King-Father said that the chumteav worked very hard to lead the Cambodian Red Cross.

In return, the chumteav No. 1 of Cambodia told King-Father and Queen-Mother that she is very thrilled and happy to receive the $5,000 gift from them. The chumteav added that king’s $5,000 personal gift to her will be used to help people who are currently facing difficulties due to various disasters, such as fire, storms, drought etc…

In response, King-Father said that the CRC led by the chumteav, has branches in all provinces of the country, furthermore, the CPP is working intensively to lead the country following [the demise? of] the Sangkum Reastr Niyum (SRN).

King-Father reminisced about the SRN era when he was the country’s leader, and when Queen-Mother was then-president of the CRC. He said that he bought several ambulances to give to the CRC for help. After Queen-Mother, it is Samdach Akkok Moha Xena Bat Dey Dek Cho Hun Xen who is the best leader of Cambodia to bring in democracy, freedom, stability, and the country is growing in all fields. King-Father said that the nation owes a debt of gratitude to the chumteav Bun Rany, in particular for the CRC framework.

Former monarch says the ruling party is the "younger sibling" to his own Sangkum Reastr Niyum party of the 1950s

KING Father Norodom Sihanouk on Thursday compared the modern-day Cambodian People's Party to his own Sangkum Reastr Niyum party, founded in 1955, framing both groups as capable stewards of national sovereignty and national progress.

"Now, under the smart leadership of Samdech Hun Sen, Chea Sim, Samdech Heng Samrin ... [the] Cambodian People's Party is following from the legacy of Sangkum Reastr Niyum, during the time that I was president," the King Father said during a meeting with nuns and laymen at his royal residence in Siem Reap province. The event was televised on TVK on Friday and Saturday.

"I have announced publicly to the people that the Cambodian People's Party is the younger sibling of Sangkum Reastr Niyum, especially in its guidance of the people and the nation to happiness and progress in all fields, and in its successful preservation of our sovereignty and independence for generations to come," he said.

In addition to praising the CPP, the monarch also recounted his own political achievements, noting the central role he played in securing independence from France.

"In history, from 1951 to 1953, I was honoured to work towards demanding independence [from France] and completed the pursuit of independence in November 1953," he said.

Cheam Yeap, a CPP lawmaker, said Sunday that he wanted to express gratitude to the King Father for his remarks on behalf of all CPP members. He said that the King Father considered the CPP as the "younger sibling" of Sangkum Reastr Niyum because he recognised the successful polices implemented by the CPP.

King Father Norodom Sihanouk, 87, returned to Cambodia on July 9 after receiving medical treatment in China. He is scheduled to go back to China on September 3 for further medical attention.

It was not the Vietnamese army that got rid of Pol Pot, it was the CPP and its illustrious leaders: King-Father

Gruesome Souvenirs & Buddhist Tevodas (Angels)
By Norodom Sihanouk

Beijing, P.R. of China, 30 January 2009

During my youth, I loved very much watching “horror films” (produced by Hollywood, USA) shown in commercial theaters in Phnom Penh, and afterwards in Saigon, where one could see Satan’s children – infernal beings – coming down to earth to haunt innocent men, women and children, and give them a frightening scare.

Between 19 March 1970 and 16 April 1975, the Lonnolian Khmers behaved like characters from Hollywood horror films against me and to my detriment.

While they came to power, since 07 January 1979, the CPP and its illustrious leaders spontaneously gave me the tile of “Father of Independence, of territorial Integrity, of Reconciliation, of National Unity,” and “Father of the Nation,” the Lonnolians who owed me everything (high-ranking positions, honor, power, wealth) “displayed their gratitude” toward me by dragging me into the mud through their horrible slanders, and by sentencing me as a “super-Traitor,” sentencing me to death, with confiscation of all my wealth and even my Khmer citizenship.

In several countries of our world (the planet Earth), their respective people firmly believe that, from time to time, there are infernal creatures who get out of Hell to come to haunt the surface of our planet Earth and to dispense evil to the maximum.

Personally, I believe that among the Hitlerian Nazis, there were some who were authentic Satan’s children (they upheld inhuman cruelty toward other human beings), and they were sent by Satan to do evil on our Earth. It was also the case of Pol Pot and the most cruel and inhuman Khmer Rouge; [and also the case] of the most unfair Lonnolians.

Buddhism teaches us: “If you do good, you will rewarded sooner or later.”

The Tevodas (Angels) are rightly rewarding the CPP and the 3 Great Samdechs (Chea Sim, Heng Samrin, HUN SEN); Lok Chumtiev Thom Bun RANY Hun Sen as well.

The CPP and its illustrious leaders, its army, its people got rid of the satanic Pol Pot and Polpotians for us, and they ceaselessly advance our country and our nation in all fields of the national edification.

KI-Media Notes: For the record,
  1. The CPP did not exist on 07 January 1979. This party saw the daylight in 1991 only. Prior to 1991, it was known as the Kampuchean People's Revolutionary Party (KPRP), and it was led by not only Heng Samrin, Chea Sim and Hun Sen, but also, Pen Sovann, Chan Si and others.
  2. Without the Vietnamese army, Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge army would not be removed from power. In fact, Heng Samrin, Chea Sim and Hun Sen had to flee the Khmer Rouge to find refuge in Vietnam.
  3. In the 80s, then-Prince Sihanouk led the resistance movement against the Vietnamese along the Thai border. For his action, Prince Sihanouk was the ire of the People’s Republic of Kampuchea led by Heng Samrin, Chea Sim, Pen Sovann, Chan Si, Hun Sen, which labeled him with the most horrible and satanic epithets (we cannot print these epithets here for fear of being charged with lèse-majesté).
  4. It is scientifically proven that, for human beings, the memory capacity becomes shorter with age as senility sets in, and it has been observed that “buttering up Cambodian leaders” is the way of life among certain groups in Cambodia and elsewhere in the Middle Kingdom.
  5. Bravo(?!?!) to King-Father for providing this interesting piece of history, although somewhat contorted. Hopefully, KI-Media will not be accused of lèse-majesté for setting the record straight, but you never know. Please pray for us!
