The Cambodian Center for Human Rights' (CCHR) director Kem Sokha says Wednesday that the four activists release Tuesday is not a gift from the government to the U.S. on the occasion of U.S. Embassy opening.
He makes this comment at a press conference Wednesday saying that freedom cannot be bought, but is rather the law of nature.
He says he will continue his endeavour, and the CCHR forum will continue.
Prime Minister Hun Sen's adviser Om Yentieng says earlier that the release is a gift to the U.S.
