PHNOM PENH, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen returned home Thursday afternoon after paying his four-day official visit to South Korea at the invitation of South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun.
"Premier Hun Sen's visit is success," Foreign Minister Hor Namhong told reporters at the airport.
Hor said that Cambodia has received about 27 million U.S. dollars development loan from South Korea.
During his visit, Hun Sen had official talks with President Roh Moo-hyun and reached agreement on accelerating the free trade agreement talks between South Korea and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The two countries also signed agreements on cooperation in tourism and labor affairs.
Cambodia hopes South Korea would further open up its labor market to accept more Cambodian workers. There are more than 2,000 Cambodia laborers currently working in South Korea, according to Hor Namhong.
Hor added that Cambodia also seeks to attract more South Korean visitors, who topped the list with more than 200,000 visitors last year. He hopes the number of South Korean visitors this year would reach to 300,000. Enditem
