Thailand and Cambodia have passed a technical principle on border survey and delineation between Thailand's Aranyaprathet district, Sakeo province and Cambodia's O Chrov district in Banteay Meanchey province.
The principle was reached at a special session of the Thailand-Cambodia joint committee on border delineation held in Bangkok.
The two sides agreed that joint survey groups will begin in May this year at the two sites and survey all joint borderlines in the principle of the memorandum of understanding and regulations signed by the two countries in 2000 and 2003, respectively.
According to the Thai Foreign Ministry, both sides agreed to hold the next meeting on the issue in Cambodia in a date yet to be fixed.
