Overseas Vietnamese in Cambodia mark victory day

Vietnamese people gathered at a ceremony to mark the 31st anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam in Cambodia's capital city of Phnom Penh on April 27. April 30, 1975 was a great landmark in Vietnam's history, reminiscent of the people's glorious victory against US aggressors for national reunification, said Chau Van Chi, President of the Vietnamese People Association in Cambodia (VPAC).

Overseas Vietnamese in Cambodia asserted their determination to further contribute to building Vietnam- their native homeland- into a prosperous country, he said.

The ceremony is also an event to remind the attendants of the 116th birth anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-May 19, 2006) and to celebrate the success of the freshly-closed 10th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

On the occasion, the VPAC launched a campaign dubbed "Live and follow the example of Great Uncle Ho" to welcome the National Day (Sept. 2). The campaign will include such activities as raising funds for the poor and building schools teaching Vietnamese and Khmer languages for children. (VNA)

Hello! Uncle Ho is here. Ar Hun Sen you better keep your boys and your royal sorry aXX in doors. Uncle Ho and his friends want some funs in Ho City ( former Phnom Penh). Hun Sen will have his gang beat up helpless Khmer and shoot at beer girls to entertain his boss. In the land of the blind, the man with one eye is the King.

Perceiving that there are dire frustration and fury among Khmers over VN political and territorial dominations in Cambodia and including Hun Sen, however, restraining from echoing hostile languages should be maintained as much as possible.

It is nothing against your heart feeling to them, as I feel the same as you because I am also Khmer. Attacking them in respectful ways would be benificial to our continous struggle in both gaining international recognitions and weakening them gradually.

I support comment number 4, criticize professionally so we could gain international support for khmer liberation from Vietnamese and their puppets.

Don't get your hope up to high. The international does not give a thing about Cambodia. They careless what is going on in Cambodia. The only thing the international communities care for is " What is there for me?" Look through the Cambodian history. What did these international communities, U.S.A, China, Russia, Vietnam, Thailand. so on did for Cambodia. The only thing they did for Cambodia is to use it's country as a battle ground to get even with other country. Only Khmer can liberate Khmer but I go along with professionalism.Calling them assholes and son of bitches get no where. But it sure help getting the frustration out of my system...........
