Phnom Penh Former Cambodian king, Norodom Sihanouk, has told the nation that Chinese doctors have cured him of his "serious health problems."
Speaking on a national television broadcast late Saturday night, Sihanouk, 83, appeared healthy and in good spirits, and said he returned on Friday with his wife because Chinese doctors treating him in Beijing had given him the all clear.
"The best Chinese doctors of the People's Republic of China have worked hard to solve some serious health problems of both myself and my wife too," he said.
"The Chinese doctor told me he has succeeded in solving my health problem."
Sihanouk has suffered a number of health problems, including diabetes and high blood pressure, and last year suffered a recurrence of colon cancer which prompted his trip to Beijing for treatment.
However he did not specify which health problems had been completely cured.
The mercurial former monarch, still regarded as a living god by many Cambodians, abdicated the throne in October 2004 in favour of his son, King Norodom Sihamoni, citing old age and failing health, but remains a powerful voice in the nation's political and cultural landscape.
Despite his current apparent good health, a royal spokesman said Friday he was still scheduled to return to China for further tests within a couple of months. - Sapa-dpa

Yes I am a barker too! a suffering barker for real democracy!
Yes, He his always in good shape. He sings, makes films, plays music and spends most times cursing his many enemis long death for the republic, again and again in his web site. But on the other he has been faking with all sorts of diseases " cancers of prostate, colon .heart. To cover up his capricious fakes, now he said that the Chinese cured him completely. So he advertize that the miracle exists in China for cancers patients .He always contempts his " small people" as naive and gullible ready to shed tears for their samdech TA .He would never realize that he has only shameless sycophants around to boost his pretentious moral high ground.
