The contribution of the tourism industry ... to poor Cambodian beggars ... and the Cambodian government

A Cambodian girl carries her sister begs for money from a foreign tourist as he gets on a bus after touring the Royal Palace in the capital Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Thursday, May 11, 2006. Tourism industry is one of the sectors contributing to economic growth of 13 percent in Cambodia in 2005, the International Monetary Fund said Thursday. The IMF dramatically raised Cambodian growth rate from the 1.9 percent it predicted for the impoverished Southeast Asian nation in late 2004. (AP Photo/Heng Sinith)
