Former King Sihanouk does not want an audience, gifts, or humanitarian aids during his stay in Cambodia, according to his statement Monday from Beijing.
The 84-year-old Monarch will return home Friday 05-26-06 and he issues warnings to the media and officials about covering his return and greeting him.
Former King Sihanouk left Cambodia in July 2005 for medical treatment in Beijing, China and went on to Pyongyang, North Korea.
In his statement in English Monday he asks the Cambodian people and his foreign friends to forgive him for not allowing them to greet him or give him gifts.
