Claiming to be Funcinpec representatives overseas, Chea Sokha from France, Suos Sameth from Canada, and Ros Son from the USA launched a petition last week calling all members of this party to regroup behind Prince Ranariddh, its president, while accusing some local party leaders, such as Nhiek Bun Chhay, Lu Lay Sreng, Ly Tuch, and You Hockry, of being under the control of the prime minister.
Assuring that they obtained a lot of support overseas, the three are addressing party members residing inside the country, in particular. “You should have the courage to oppose those who have the intention of betraying Samdech Krom Preah [Norodom Ranariddh],” they wrote while asking them to adopt the same the position they have taken “when they were in the resistance and which brought prosperity and democracy after 1993.” Becoming Funcinpec secretary-general following the resignation of prince Ranariddh from the presidency of the National Assembly, Nhiek Bun Chhay is accused of “coercing” those who would support prince Ranariddh “to respect Hun Sen’s orders.” Furthermore, the three wish that Funcinpec would adopt a new motto which would be: “Peace, stability and development.”
“I know the people who signed this statement. However, they are not the real representatives of Funcinpec. They are only businessmen,” Lu Lay Sreng reacted after being accused by the authors of the text. “I do not think this statement reflects reality,” said Nouv Sovathero, Funcinpec spokesman and under-secretary at the Council of Ministers. “Nowadays, Nhiek Bun Chhay is devoting all his efforts for the consolidation of Funcinpec and he supports Prince Ranariddh.” Furthermore, he estimates that changing the motto of Funcinpec from “Nation, religion, king” would be “against the will and the honor of King-Father.”

dirty Norodoom ranariddh
Die peacefully you fools!!!!!!!!!!!
None would support Funcinpec!!!!!!
I oppose to have any royal family member participate in any politic or association with any member of political chains. Kings are not to involve in politic, they will fuck up the country. Have we seen enough of an example?
Ah junkort ..he's worse than his father the komporng hou teil king, idiot..eeeyore!
Give it a rest....you stupid fools.
