Officials from different political parties have expressed their views on anonymous distribution of leaflets verbally attacking the leader of the government, prime minister Hun Sen, as well as their feelings that the content of the leaflet cannot bring political instability to Cambodia.

Khieu Kanharith, the government spokesman, said that there are already some clues in the investigation on the suspects in the distribution of leaflets defaming the Cambodian prime minister.

Khieu Kanharith said: “We have some clues but we leave it to the police to conduct the investigation. It is a small group of people who lost their personal influence and they are using various means to defame others in the dark. Therefore, the government does not care.”

The leaflets, distributed anonymously in the early morning on Wednesday in various locations of Phnom Penh, severely accuse prime minister Hun Sen on his conduct in society, his leadership, and it also curses him as well.

The leaflets indicated their support for royal family members and accuse the current prime minister of wanting to abolish the royal family. They also claim that all nationalists have no desire to abolish the royal family.

Nov Sivutharo, Funcinpec official, reacted by saying that the leaflet author aims to create dissention within the CPP-Funcinpec friendship.

Nov Sivutharo said: “I am certain that the prime minister understands [this issue], sometimes, another person is trying to create dissention between the CPP and Funcinpec through these minor writings. It will not create instability in the society …”

On Thursday, the authority in charge of security said that it has not yet arrested any suspect regarding the distribution of defamation leaflets.

Eng Chhay Eang, SRP official, said that there is nothing unusual about attack on the leadership of any political party, because these leaders cannot satisfy everybody.

I like the comment of Mr. Eng Chay eang. And Keiv Kagnarith must watch out his mouth and his leader.

I hope Hun Sen must realize his stupidity, his pupet to youn and his betrayal to Cambodian people.

Let's topple Hun Sen.

Whosever works and member of CPP are working for Youn and their pockets. These CPP members are no brain, they have mokey brain. If people have brain, they won't work with this party. Some of them come from US and France. These people can't find a job in US or France. They don't get respect and nobody called them A Lok, A Erk Oudom, A Near Moeurn Ort Luy. That's why they go back home to make money and suck it to their bank account. Brain people won't work under illeterate people like A Kvak HS. The Cambodia saying is if the palm fruit drops not far from the palm tree. So if the leader is stupid, his subodinates is the same.
