PHNOM PENH — A delegation from Radio Voice of Viet Nam (VoV) led by its general director Vu Van Hien on Thursday met Cambodian Minister of Information Kiev Kanharith in an effort to boost co-operation on broadcasting between the two countries.

Kanharith appreciated the results of past co-operation between the two countries’ information agencies and thanked VoV and National Radio of Cambodia (NRC) for their support.

He expects that the two agencies will continue to co-operate and support each other, contributing to the development of good relations between the two countries in the future. The NRC will restart its Vietnamese language programme, slotted for 30-60 minutes per day.

On the same day, the delegation talked to the NRC delegation, led by its general director Tan Yan. The two sides discussed their recent operating situation and reviewed the implementation of co-operation document signed in 2005 between the two agencies.

The two agencies also agreed to push up co-operative and developmental activities in the near future, as well as exchange delegations of journalists and technicians and support technology and equipment.

VoV general director Vu Van Hien said his agency is willing to carry out co-operative activities helping its Cambodian counterpart, on the scale of the co-operation document signed in 2005, as well as work to carry out co-operation programmes between governments of the two countries. — VNS

Mr.K Kanharith should be carefully in all details on this issue to let Viet's broad-cast in Cambodian nation programe without a fair co-operation.
What is the beneficiary will gain for the majority of Cambodians people whom could not understanding the viets'language and have not much access to hear or listing to its own khmers'landguage broad cast in their home land?

In the UN election 93,the khmers intelligenc group had pointed out that there were lot of Viet solders become to be Cambodian civilians whom tried very hard to support your regime at that time, but you and your MP Hun Sen's gornverment denied all about the facts.
When MP FUNCINPEC have proposed a immegration department office to deal with any illegal migrant in Cambodian society, you and you MP Hun Sen denied one more time against this ideal and also said there were no illegal migrants(especially the Viets)settlement in Cambodia.

Now, you signed an agreement that allowing the Veit's broad cast blend into the National Radio of Cambodia in our Kingdom. What are you trying to do and motivate our Khmers'mind Mr.KK?

It's proved that" Mr.KK", you're not only protecting the illegal migrant Viets in the whole Cambodian kingdom, but you're also providing them a free voice in order to rob our Khmers'right in our own land.

Sometime you just have to give up non-violence and peaceful mean to get what you want. After election Cambodian election of 2008 and if AH HUN SEN and the Vietcong still meddling with Cambodian affair, I like to see more violence and I pray to God that more radical groups would flourish in Cambodia like mushroom and to pursue the use of violence to achieve it means!

I like to see Sinn Fein style of movement in Cambodia.

Most closed-minded Khmers I ever heard. Instead of crying out how the freedom of disemination of information in variety of culture is flourishing in our nation you should instead cry out for the same equal rights on behalf of Khmer Kampuchea Krom Cambodian people of Vietnam.

Democracy does not work one way. You both need to realize that if you want to help Khmer Krom. And before you can realize that and make that demand heard, Vietnam is going to be deaf to all fairness and democracy to our Khmer brothers.

Most of Khmers people are not so closing their minds as one of our anonymous have said in this forum, but some MPs in the CPP do when they come out to make an important decision for the sack of our nation. They're really not consider a wrong move decision that they made could effecting the whole life of ordinary Cambodian. Not only Khmers in Cambodia, but also Khmers Krom whom are living in "PREY NOKOR" Viet nowaday as well.

Yes! you're right! --the democracy does not work one way or the other way around, and it should be work out fairly for both nations if the Viet consider Cambodia as their exchange culture and informations partnership. The Viet's government need to give our Khmers Krom a freedom or the rights to see, hear and listen of Cambodian language in any time at any where they like. But they did't and the Viet's government also baned all kinds of Khmers language activity in general.

We are not crying in any reason, but as the Cambodian citizen,we're concerning of this irregularity agreement which it's not fair and not acceptable for all Khmers around the world. Therefore,I am encourage all the MP in CCP to be careful of what decision they made or they should open a public debat before they signe any agreement with the Viet.

There're many irregularity issues agreement with the Viet that it's not acceptable for all Cambodian.

Do you see what I mean?

I understand your concern and deeply support your thoughts. I didn't said most khmer are closed-minded. I said the khmer that posted those messages up there were most closed-minded person I ever see. People need to learn to express the right views, right conscious, right intention and walk. We should always be vigilante and critical of unfair deals like this. But yong trol te ches nijiay. Mian kron te prous. Pi prous mnus lok min aich sdap ban.
