I do not think that Marie former wife of Rannarith can still be called Princess Marie Rannarith because she has been divorced. Therefore she must use her own surname and a normal title. She is no longer be a princess.

Srey Khmers are not easily manipulated by their husbands. They demand high respect and very very traditional. You don't want to mess with the real Srey Khmers.
Kmers men loved beauty and perhap were unable to handle such tough attitude and decide to find something else easy. Most perhap didn't really put any seriuos thought to it. Especially,when they are rich and powerful, it's so easy to get all those women's attention.
