Phnom Penh Municipal Court has charged the editor of pro-Sam Rainsy Party newspaper Moneaksekar Khmer with disinformation over an article that accused Cabinet Minister Sok An of corruption, the editor's lawyer said Wednesday. Dam Sithek was charged over the June article last week, said lawyer Som Chan Dyna. Court Director Chiv Keng said Dam Sithek will stand trial after the court has finished investigating him. Dam Sithek said the court was serving the interests of government officials. Sok An and government lawyer Long Norindh, who fifed the complaint, could not be reached for comment.

all cambodia people party (CPP) are more corrupted than the other party. the world knows how much money, villas, cars, and lands that all high officials in CPP government acquired. How can they afford to have such a luxiry life style if they don't steel millions of dollars that world bank provided and including Ah Kwak. Even their son and daughter's weddings are extravegence and unbelievable. How can they afford with the salary of $3000 a month. Only stupid people that can't calculate like Ah Kwak and his entourages. How many houses Ah Happy Read has? I heard about 40 houses and the guy even forget his own house. This HR is also fighting bird suchas rouster. What's a scump like him doing this cruel work.
This is how Cambodian court has been known as monky Court for a longtime. This kind of judgement has put Cambodia into a big question of if this country is a good place to invest or not. Surely, Sok An has been knwon for alongtime as the most corrupted official in Cambodia. In normal practice of a covilised society, if a minister has been rumeured to be a potentially corrupted, he must stand down from ministerial post and the parliament must establish a selected committee of multi-parties members for full investigation. If the investigatation has found that he has been corrupted then, police will be involved to take him to court for prosecution. If the investigation has been found to be clean from corruption, then he can sue the media for defamation.
Can someone tells me who else in other country is more corrupted then Sok An?
People said one time he bets $1.000.000.00(one million dollars)at the rooster fighting's game.
If it is true, Sok An is to be brought to justice first.
Hun Sen is more corrupted than Sok An. Don't u think so?

We cannot just accuse somebody to be corrupt. They are innocent till proven guilty.
The question is how to find out that they are really corrupt.
This is the job of the National Assembly. And who nominate the Assembly? "THE PEOPLE".
If The people don't change their opinion when they vote, nothing is going to change.
Voters who vote for corrupt people or be bribed by corrupt people while voting has no voice to scream about corruption.
If people don't like them then they need to "vote them out" not vote them in.
They vote for them means they like them. That the way to go.
To Cambodians. Stop complaining if you don't vote them out and change them more often.
You vote for them means you like them so live and work for or with them.
What else can be done?
