WARRNAMBOOL sisters Lorraine Fitzpatrick and Marilyn Coleman will play Santa to thousands of children in Cambodia next year.

For six years the women have co-ordinated the region's Operation Christmas Child project, which resulted in 1200 shoeboxes filled with presents being delivered to Cambodia last year.

This time they want to hand-deliver the boxes. ``We just want to see the kids' faces,'' Mrs Fitzpatrick said.

She was encouraged to participate in the program by a friend and said it's the best decision she has ever made.

``We think we're blessed because we meet all these generous people,'' Mrs Fitzpatrick said.

Her garage has been transformed into what resembles Santa's workshop, with boxes of toys, clothing and stationery piled high.

A dinner to raise money for the sisters' trip will be held at the New Life Christian Church tonight.

Operation Christmas Child is a worldwide initiative of Samaritan's Purse, which delivers toys, stationery, clothing and confectionery to more than 90 countries.

I wish all Khmers who are non-CPP to be united in order to win the next general election. It means those who will not vote for CPP won't fight each other and hold their hand to liberate our Homeland from.....? in order to promote prosperity to our people. And I also bag to those opportunist politicians of the Non- CPP's party to quit politic in 2008'election including Mr. Sam Rainsy who are trying to cheat our courageous Khmer Activists.
I wish NO:FUNCINPEC-CPP's government, NO:SAMRAINGSY-CPP's government and NO:FUNCINPEC-SAMRAINGSY-CPP'S government.

I wish after 2008's election Cambodia will be independent for the second time!!!!
