Official: Ranariddh Set To Return, If Safe Enough

Former Funcinpec ambassador Ok Socheat said Tuesday that Funcinpec President Prince Norodom Ranariddh hopes to return to Cambodia on July 18, but is afraid that if he does he might face danger. Ok Socheat claimed that an unnamed political party is trying to oust members of the royal family from politics, and has tried to frame the prince for corruption and may now be planning to kill him. "He will return if it is safe and dignified," Ok Socheat said. Government spokesman and Information Minister Khieu Kanharith said Ok Socheat’s allegations do not refer to the ruling CPP. "The CPP is not so stupid as to kill people and the CPP doesn't want to lose its partner," he said. Sam Rainsy Party lawmaker Eng Chhay Eang claimed the prince is looking for an excuse not to come back.

Noone has pity on this corrupted prince. He should die by heart attack so that people in Cambodia have one less corrupted Prince to worry. So far all of these corrupted animal are making people lives harder.
