The visit to Vietnam by President of Cambodia's National Assembly Heng Samrin will help reinforce and expand solidarity, and friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.
Nguyen Phu Trong, president of Vietnam's National Assembly, the country's highest legislative body, made the statement when holding talks with his visiting counterpart on Friday.
The friendly and cooperative ties between Vietnam and Cambodia "are developing very finely," and will further develop within a framework of "good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and durable stability," Trong said.
The Cambodian top legislator said his visit, made at the invitation of the Vietnamese legislative leader, is an opportunity for Cambodia to get to know achievements gained by Vietnam in general and by its National Assembly in particular, and seek ways of fostering the bilateral relations.
After the talks, the Cambodian top legislator met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. The two sides mentioned issues of mutual concern.
Since the establishment of their diplomatic relations in 1967, Vietnam and Cambodia have developed bilateral ties in various spheres, including economy and trade. Their import-export turnovers rose 30 percent to roughly 692 million U.S. dollars in 2005.
The two countries agreed to a target of gaining two-way trade of one billion U.S. dollars in 2006 during an official visit to Cambodia by former prime minister Phan Van Khai in March.

As far as I am concerned there are no such thing as solidarity, and friendly and cooperative relations between Cambodia and Vietname!
It is true that there are solidarity between AH HENG SAMKIS's family and the Vietcong! AH HENG SAMKIS went to Vietname at his own free will and Cambodian people don't give a fuck about AH HENG SAMKIS either! All that I see is that AH HENG SAMKIS is shaking hand with the Vietcong!
This is the Vietcong last ditch in your face attitude to convince the world and some stupid Cambodian people that all they want is peace!
If the Vietcong want true everlasting peace and they better free the Khmer Krom people! Free now motherfucker! Let see if your words match your action! I wasn't borned stupid to understand the real intention of the Vietcong!
His happines. Our grief, misery and the seven continents of suspiscions and doubts.
I believe that the table will turn and that turn will be soon coming to us.
Enjoy for now Mr. Heang sam Viet.
