The President of the Sam Rainsy party called the political parties to be formed, including the new royalist party organized by Prince Sisowath Thomico, useless parties.
He compared them to bodyless ghosts: “The new political parties, the recent smaller parties have two characteristics: first, they are bodyless ghosts (“ab” in Cambodian) … bodyless ghosts have a head only, they have a president and a couple of vice-presidents only but they don’t have a body, hands, feet. Bodyless ghosts are useless, who can they attract? They cannot even pull themselves … and people will not vote for bodyless ghost parties. Second, these newly formed parties, they are like fireflies, they light up intermittently … near the election, they light up, at the end of the election, they no longer light up … they are blinking light. People will not waste their vote on them. Voting for bodyless ghosts and fireflies is a waste.”
Mr. Sam Rainsy’s critics did not receive any reaction yet this Wednesday.

Mr.Raingsy should be dignified and non-judgmental. As a known player,needed not to denigrate others for own glory.
Beware and be sensible "Silence is golden." To arouse people conscience to fight injustice is his common sense and avoid at all cost to meddle other contestants spirit.
He is damaging his party sportsmanship spirit now. He 's got to be more crafty than quick to slingshot mode.

The 2 hypocrite politicians is sucking Khmer blood like those of CPP and FUNCINPEC.They all are making hugh fortune from politic.
The CPP's members are direct slaves of VN, the FUNCINPEC's members are CPP supporters and Samraingsy, his wife and a few others help CPP to have good image in international politic!

I am a fan of Mr. Sam Rainsy all along, however these comments certainly concern me. If I were Mr. Sam Rainsy's adviser, I advise that he sticks to freedom of speech and association. Whatever he said here is only helping the CPPs. Please do not fall into the CPP's traps like the FUNCINPEC. Please yourself and your SRP from the CPP and/or the FUNCINPEC. Please talk and walk democracy for Cambodia like the true democrats.
What is so wrong for saying that is right! I commend Mr. Sam Rainsy for saying what has has to say and it certainly help educated Cambodian people about the political party which they are about to vote for in 2008! Sam Rainsy is trying to educate the public and to make them aware of the real issues that facing them everyday! Cambodia will not have another chance after 2008 if Cambodian people keep choosing the wrong political party! The world don't give a fuck about Cambodia! The World don't need to baby sit Cambodian either!

Whoever makes a bad comment about SRP, you must be a member of CPP. His point of view is right. If small party keeps popping up every day, the CPP will gain more control. Whose knows may be CPP creates all of these small party and create trouble among the democratic party. You're all giving a shit comments. Don't be cretic. Try to hold your bad mouth before saying anything. Just sit back and watch what SRP is doing next. How many years that you see CPP and Sihanoukist are doing for the country. How many more years do all of you understand whose is good and whose is the bad leader in our own country. Why People around the world admire John F. Kennedy (JFK). He only served the country less than 2 terms. Not like Ah Kwak and Ah Kwen (NSH)served the countries all most to their death and some Khmer people still don't see what is wrong with these people.
No wonder we're Khmer Angkor, but lack behind 200 years old American country because Ah Kwak and his entourages has no eyes when he went abroad. May be they all enjoys fucking prostitutes like Srey Youn outside their houses and forget to see the world. I'm sick and tired about these Khmer leaders.

I am a member of SRP. I have been supporting Rainsy since he first started his party. I think both side of comments are right. We should not go too much to the right or to the left. Our leader is not always right. But we should not see only the negative of him eighter. Rainsy has the right to express his opinion or criticism over any political parties or groups. However, his opinion or criticism is not always right. So other has the right to criticize him too. It doesn't mean he/she a member of CPP or VN.
