A delegation of the Cambodian National Assembly, led by Chairman Samdec Heng Samrin, today arrives in Hanoi for an official visit to Vietnam.
The visit is made at the invitation of Chairman of the Vietnam's National Assembly, Nguyen Phu Trong.
The Vietnam-Cambodia bilateral ties, set up in June 1967, have developed in line with the principles mentioned by the Vietnam-Cambodia joint communiques issued on Jan. 25, 1992 and in 1995.
Vietnam and Cambodia defined orientations for bilateral co-operation in the 21st century as "good neighbourliness, traditional solidarity and friendship and long-term stability." during the visit to Cambodia in June 1999 by General Secretary Le Kha Phieu of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Both countries have increased the exchange of high-level visits, including the visits to Vietnam by Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk and Queen Monineath Sihanouk, Senate President Samdech Chea Sim, Prime Minister Hun Sen and King Norodom Sihamoni and the visits to Cambodia by Vietnamese Communist Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An.

Hi achar kvet!
you are an uneducated man because you could not read khmer letters correctly, but you have a chance to be president of national assembly dauy youn bontop
Sometime I wonder if this guy Heng Samkis is a human or a humanoid. I had read the news that the Vietcong were annexing Cambodian land up to Heng Samkis' birth place and this Heng Samkis had deny the Vietcong had any wrong doing and still see the Vietcong in positive way?
There are certain things life that defy all logic and the action of Heng Samkis wanting more contact with the Vietcong is one of them!
Please go in peace and go with the Vietcong in any way your like because with you(Heng Samkis) the Vietcong will never have the chance! Please don't forget by the end of 2008 election, I want to see not only you but your entire family move closer to the Vietcong like in Hanio or something like that! You and your family will have a chance to be alot closer and please be patience because the time will come.
