Funcinpec senior official has denied the news about Prince Norodom Ranariddh, Funcinpec president, calling his party members to hurry and seek an alliance with the Sam Rainsy Party and other democrats.
General Nhiek Bun Chhay, Funcinpec secretary-general, who just returned from Malaysia where Prince Ranariddh is currently residing, said that delegation members who went to meet Prince Ranariddh the day before yesterday, did not hear about this call.
Nhiek Bun Chhay said: “I did not [hear] at all about about this, I heard some reporters asking me about this issue also, I am stressing that the call for all democrats to unite [by Prince Ranariddh], I personally did not know about this issue because I went to meet [Samdech Krom Preah] and I do not know have any information about this issue at all.”

-He was cheeted by Rannarith from 1992 until his was sacked by him in the first term in Funcipec.
-He was cheeted by this animal again in 1998 for second term. Rannarith used him for bargaining his power to be able to sell all ministers positions to all crocs and sharks from large ocean of atlantic.
-He was cheeted again by this animal as third time in 2004 for the same reason to have power so that he can sell all positions to the new hungry crocs and new hungry sharks.
Will he be cheeted for a third time? If so, then a big question mark to him is he getting share from Rannarith for all the monies collected by Rannarith?
I think we're all agreed that everyone of them has had their own dirty past. But [may be?] at this point in time everyone of them realize the "water is up to the nose" and by calling all democratic parties to be united, they thought this is [probably] the last route and the best political manauver to save our innocent people and the country.

talking about Ranny flip-flop and sold out for the best deal, what his funnypic members? hundreds of them running like hordes of cows to join the cpp, where the money is. after what happened in 97, where cpp killed so many high ranking funcinpec military officers, they never learn their lesson. cpp will dump them like trash when they are through with them. funcinpec is a very corrupt party with the most corrupt members.

I support the Alliance of Democrats with Funcinpc but without Ranariddh as a leader and a bunch of corrupt menbers.We can call a second United Front of Nationalism but we have to include Kem Sokha and the other Khmer nationalists.We need to sitdown and think hard more than before to liberate our Cambodian people.
If Sam Rainsy won the election of 2008, Sam Rainsy will take power alone because AH HUN SEN cry baby is stomping his feet that he wouldn't the government with Sam Rainsy!ahahah
Then the real firework begin when he anti-corruption laws pass through assembly and make many of the CPP high official including AH HUN SEN himself as a victim of corruption and one by one they will fall from power like a rotten fruit fall from the tree!

I am strongly agreed with Anonymous,2:31am... SRP and FUN should be combined together again, before the election, but completely without Ranariddh! SRP must desperately need to convince and perserve the people who are more patriotically nationalists, like Kem Sokha, in order to eventually liberate Kampuchea and her people!
