Heng Pov To Reveal More Secrets, Says Lawyer

By Douglas Gillison
THE CAMBODIA DAILY

Former Phnom Penh police chief Heng Pov will reveal more allegations about the inner workings of the Cambodian government his Australian lawyer, David Chen, says.

"We will shortly be releasing a further statement with more information about the regime," Chen, who practices law in Canberra, wrote in an e-mail received Sunday evening. "Perhaps you can send a message to the regime to immediately drop all the trumped-up charges against my client in return for him not releasing any of their further dirty linen. I can assure you it’s going to be very ugly for them," Chen added.

However, in a second e-mail message Monday, Chen said that Heng Pov would not be silenced.

"There is more coming and he won't be silenced even if they decide to drop all the trumped-up charges against him," he wrote.

Interior Ministry spokesman Khieu Sopheak said Heng Pov is desperate. "The more Heng Pov releases statements, the more Heng Pov loses credibility," he said.

Information Minister and government spokesman Khieu Kanharith also said that no deal would be done with Heng Pov. "To say that the government must drop the charges, it would be crazy. The lawyer must not understand Cambodian law," Khieu Kanharith said.

"You cannot strike a deal with the government on crimes," he said. "By claiming he knows all these secrets, he becomes an accomplice to the crimes. This will reduce his chances for asylum."

However, a foreign expert in criminal law said that prosecutors do consider evidence from alleged and convicted criminals.

"Even if he's guilty, that doesn't prevent him from being credible in other matters," the expert said. "At the current stage, he's only a suspect, accused or implicated in certain affairs by other officers. For the time being, he has the presumption of innocence."

I congratulate you, HP for adamantly believing on yourself to be righteous. I am proud of you for masking this very EVIL REGIME.

I agree. YOU must stay low for your safety before they silence's you. Most importantly, DO NOT TRUST any Norodumb family. They are the diciples of evil doers.

Good LUck.

It is interesting to see when Heng Pov is rocking team Hun Sen ship the crews member like Khieu Kanharith, Khieu Sopheak & his other misses is starting to screamed out loud (more screaming to come guys). Because they know drowning is not pleasant after 25 years of tax free "how can they give up such a good businesses?" they are "stinking rich" all at the expenses of Cambodia and it poor khmer people. Thanks to Heng Pov and David Chen the possibilites are enormous. If Heng Pov make everyone in the world know, seeking asylum will be easier becuase at lease donating countries have something to work with imagine splitting $600M of donations again 11Millions Khmer they will all have $50 each to spend including Hun Sen. So does anyone know if Khieu Kanharith have a degree in law becuase he seem to know little. But than again I didn't know Cambodia have laws i though Hun Sen is the laws!.

Heng Pov, you were bad before and Phnom Penh dwellers really hate you before. However, if you can reveal all crimes, corruptions, trafficking of Hun Sen, Hok Londy, Khieu Kanharith, Sao Sokha, Sok Ann and other dogs in Cambodia, I think Phnom Penh dwellers as well as the whole population would change their mind and forgive you and love you.

Keep on spreading out the evidences of HUN Sen and its dogs so that sooner or later, they all will to go jail. I strongly support you.

Indeed, Hun Sen and his dogs in CPP (Cambodian People Party, a communit party pupet of communit Vietnam (YOUN) are all corrupt. Also, sex angry Ranarith and his dogs are corrupt too.

If they are not corrupt, why don't they reveal their financial stagement and propeties while they become ministers, palimentarians, and leaders of Cambodia.

Think about this:

Puth Chandarith paid Ranarith hundreds of thousands of US$ in order to be Kampot Governor and if he didn't take bribes or do corruption or sell the property of the country, how can he get his investment. Therefore, he did corruption, took bribes and so on.

However, he was so stupid and unlucky that he could not have good relationship with HUN SEN or HUN SEN's dogs so they HUN SEN and his dogs tried to get evidence of PUTH CHANDARITH and got him caught.

Similarly, other FUNSINPECH palimentarians, province governors, deputy governor, HEN SEN's are all corrupt.

Cambodian People should join hand in hand and fight again corrution, crimes, human and heroin trafficking under heart-less evil HUN SEN and his men. Get them out and put them in jain.

May God punish them as soon as possible.
