Prime minister Hun Sen asked Japan to prioritize the Neak Leurng Bridge [construction] in its development aid package to Cambodia for the Japanese fiscal year 2007 budget.
Hun Sen’s request was made to Yokomichi Takahiro, the head of the Japanese Parliament delegation.
During the meeting with the Japanese Parliament delegation in Phnom Penh on 31 July 2006, prime minister Hun Sen told Yokomichi Takahiro, the vice-president of the Japanese Parliament, that the Neak Leurng bridge is vital for connecting Cambodia’s national road no. 1 to the Asean Highway.

This is just a fucken highway to hell! The free flow of Cambodian natural resources, Cambodian slave labors, Cambodian sex slaves,...I don't believe AH HUN SEN have the vision to see far into the future how these highways can benefit Cambodian in anyway! There countless border crossings connecting between Thailand and Vietname and Loa and Cambodia is the only one still poor as fuck! Cambodia lost over 400million to 500million in tax evasion through these border crossing economic activities!
Now the highway to connect with other Southeast Asian country? Oh come on! These highways are connecting to more major problems that no stupid Cambodian corrupted officials can solve! AH HUN SEN is just asking for more trouble!
What Cambodia got to have is the deep sea port that can accomodate heavy merchant ships for Cambodian international trade. AH HUN SEN used to say that the deep sea port for Cambodian international is his ace of card for Cambodian economic!
But the Vietcong had realized AH HUN SEN ambition and they told him no way because all Cambodian Islands infront of the deep sea port is belong to Vietname now and water way is also belong to Vietname and Cambodia has no other way out to the outside world through the sea! So what is next for Cambodian people to the outside world? Through the highway?
The Vietcong used to say to AH HUN SEN that It is my way or the highway! I guess AH HUN SEN is choosing the highway!ahahahaha
At least he do some thing for the Country!
Yes He does something for the country.
But He also does a lot more for himself, his family and his clan.
He also does a lot of bad thing for Cambodians.
Other countries help Cambodians not because of Hun Sen but because they want Cambodians to be well off. If all the help go directly 100% to the people, Cambdodians should be very well off by now. But based on the estimate most of the aids are lost through the goverment red tape and corruption.

Well..that's what Cambodia gets when a former Khmer Rouge who sided with Hanoi. Ah Youn(Hanoi) never wanted to see Cambodia doing better anyway. If we do, we will want the revenge. Just like ah Youn influenced the damn French to installed Norodom Sihanouk to be the ruler of Cambodia. Under his leadership, he unitentionally, helped drag Cambodia to hell. He wasn't as wise or as determine to help his country as he should because of his altered egos personality. This is the kind of leadership of Cambodia. And with the blood-thirsty of ah Youn wanting have and destroy Cambodia, Cambodia didn't stand a chance. Ah Youn was able to manipulate the situation of French Indochina(Cambodia, Laos, north and central Vietnam) to it advantage by using favoritism so the French can sign over Prei Norkor or Kampuchea Krom or south Vietnam.
I don't know when was the last time Cambodia had a real leader, since the death of our greatest ing, Jayvarman VII. The one-eye dumbass(Hun Sen) is enjoying his glory under ah Youn dictation. He doesn't have the ball to free himself from ah Youn so Cambodia can truly be free and able to progress at a faster pace. Ah Youn will try whatever it takes to have pro-Hanoi government CPP to win in the next election, and the next, and the next, and the next........
