The King of Cambodia, leaders of the government, the Senate and the National Assembly all showed their high appreciations of the on-going visit to the country by a delegation of the Vietnamese government headed by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung.

Meeting Deputy PM Hung separately in Phnom Penh on August 22, Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, Prime Minister Hun Sen, Senate President Chea Sim and National Assembly First Vice Chairman Nguon Nhel described the visit as a vivid manifestation of the fine neighbourliness between the two countries.

They said the visit contributes to improving the quality and efficiency of bilateral co-operation in trade, investment, education and training, electricity, aviation, tourism, banking, mineral exploration and mining, oil and gas, plantation and processing of rubber as well as other industrial crops.

PM Hun Sen thanked Vietnam for effective assistance and expressed his belief to continue relations between the two countries. He stated that he will guide ministries, sectors and relevant agencies to carry out co-operation agreements that have been reached during this visit.

Senate President Chea Sim and NA First Vice Chairman Nguon Nhel highly valued achievements made by the Vietnamese people in their national renovation process and expressed their hopes that the traditional friendship and comprehensive co-operation between the two countries as well as between legislative agencies would be further developed.

Deputy PM Hung said that Vietnam always attached importance to building relations with Cambodia by following the motto of "good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, long-lasting, sustainable and comprehensive co-operation."

If the tie were any stronger, it would rust.

Your great grandchildren may spit on your grave just like you have done to your ancestors.

They praised their oppressor because none of them understand the human basic needs, lack of ethical principle, and most important of all -- they lacked education.
