In an interview from Malaysia with VOA Khmer, royalist FUNCINPEC party's President Prince Norodom Ranariddh says that he wants to continue his party's alliance with Prime Minister Hun Sen's Cambodian People's Party (CPP) to make it better despite some issues between him and Mr. Hun Sen in March.
He says that Mr. Hun Sen is willing to have a better relation with him, thus he asks FUNCINPEC's General Secretary and deputy Prime Minister Nhek Bun Chhay to arrange for his return.
In a telephone conversation with Mr. Hun Sen, the prince says that Mr. Hun Sen wants to strengthen their friendship.
Prince Ranariddh says that he asks Mr. Hun Sen not to change or remove his party members' positions without informing him first as in the past. He says that now the priority is for his party members to be united and work together to strengthen the party's principles for 2008 election, to have his party members' and the people's trust.
Prince Ranariddh says that he will not resume his position as National Assembly's President. He also says that he has no personal conflict with opposition party leader Sam Rainsy who wrote a letter to him about his defamation charges against the prince. He says that he puts this behind him.
The Prince says that upon his return he will conduct a meeting with his party members to find a political goal for internal reforms, and that the party members want to make amendments and review the charter.
Prince Ranariddh says he will form a technical committee task force to study those reforms. He says that he suffers the wound caused by what happened in March 2006, while between 2003-04 after the election, he has helped Prime Minister Hun Sen end serious political crisis.

This guy has no real intention to help Cambodia but his personal gains. He is not much different from Hun Sen. They has not done any good for the country but distruction.
His most failure in life is about his indiscrimination of sex partnership. He lost all his control when in front of a young girl even his niece, his minister wife etc... His leadership power will be lost completely when asked by a young girl. Therefore his political life has been destroyed by Kanh Chrong Beisach. All his frinds will lost power to men bought power from his young girl. Only monky who think this animal is still in good use. My God, this is Cambodia?
Oh, God! How long do Cambodian have to suffer? Look at the idiot Prince Norodom Ranaridh, He is corrupted and womenized, and yet he is still coming back to Cambodia to steal Cambodian wealth for more. This prince is useless in leadership, and yet he is coming back to Cambodia to be a leader again.He doesn't know how to solve the problem. He cannot lead and he cannot make Cambodian better rather than himself. This prince should be resigned from his leadership. Now, he is soon be back to Cambodia to suck more money, more girls and his minister's wives.
Oh, God! It is so sad for Cambodian! It's so sad for all of us as Cambodian who have been cheated time and time again and again by our leaders.
Oh, God! When can all of us wake up and see the thiefts who betrayed us. How long do we have to sleep for. Are we going to sleep until we have never wake up!?
Asked I said last week on my comment. Prince Ranarith just waits for green light from Hun Sen to go back to Cambodia, why Hun Sen want Naranarith back? Even he knew
Prince useless for CPP, There is two reasons for Hun Sen to compromise with prince.
Firstly: Nhek Bun Chhey unable to unite all members of Funcienpec to stand behind him
CPP trust Nhek Bun Chhey more then prince and the other hand they want to reach their goal to eliminate royal family from politic.
Secondly: Prince Tomico form and alliance together with smaller party to join him and will attract a lot of Funcienpec who do not happy with Nhek Bun Chhey or maybe will join with SRP in 2008 general election, all of these reason make CPP think twice then except prince back and keeping Nhek Bun Chhey as general secretary, this the game CPP will play in next election, They will use Nhek Bun Chhey as ear and eye of Hun Sen inside Funceinpec and they will use Prince Nararith unite Funcienpec members and will confront with Prince Tomico, Now prince Naranarith start to appeal to Cambodia people
Which he said, he still pain what Hun Sen did to him but he need to compromise to keep peace and stable in Cambodia even he had disagreement with border issue, he said all of these issue all the time, he get nothing been done only promises by CPP and later on they broke it, nothing he can do only said pain because he stupid and idiot
Why did prince Ran. always look like he was crying?. No wonder,The old king handed the throne of Cambodia to his charming younger brother instead. Poor thing!
