Sralanh Khmer or Love Khmer newspaper editor You Saravudh was given asylum by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, but it is not known what country he will go to.
Mr. You Saravudh was involved in a controversial issue with Prime Minister Hun Sen's nephew, Hun To. He left Cambodia on July 22, after charging Mr. Hun To, who is an Oknha (Lord) of murder intention, by telephone and by mouth, and due to an article in his newspaper implicating Mr. Hun To's land grabbing case in Mondul Kiri province, which Mr. Hun To denied.
In a telephone conversation with VOA from Bangkok, Thailand, Mr. You Saravudh confirms about the asylum.
Mr. You Saravudh's lawyer, Chhith Sarith says that the UNHCR's decision is good.
Government spokesman Khieu Kanharith welcomes the news of Mr. You Saravudh receiving a refugee status. Mr. Hun To files a suit against Mr. You Saravudh for publishing an article fabricating a story.

Cambodia is going to be desserted very soon under Hun Sen regime. Every day, there are people who have conflicted with members of Hun Sen and his friends families for having their properties stolen by this gangsters group must flee the country for assylum overseas. In recent months hundred of families in Sambok Chap, Dey Kra hoam etc.. properties have been stolen by hun sen circle must flee from country of their birth for safety. Look at Heng Pov who has worked very hard for Cambodian and now at the end he is being accused as a murderer instead. THe world instead of helping Cambodia for a better settlement but indeed has back off and try to help the sufferers. That is good too. But one day Cambodia will loose their land of birth to neighbour country which has supported Hun Sen regime.
No one wants to left Cambodia, the home country, but because there are too much fucking person such as Khieu Kangnarith, Hun Sen, Hun To, etc.....
The leaves never too far from the tree trunk. Hun To & Hun Sen are both a true terrorists against the citizens of the country. Now, we have Heng Pov & You Saravudh, the True color of the CPP regime is shedding some light.
The world must pay close attention to this evil empire.
All relatives of Hun Sen always make crime in the society.They never ever punished by anyone. no one can do anything with them. Really hate them.Khmer is democracy in the name only but in fact,khmer is communist country by controlling of Hun Sen. Criminal guy is Hun Sen and his relatives.
