SRP-USA/Canada 2006 Convention in Jacksonville, Florida, USA

On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August 2006, the Sam Rainsy Party in the USA and Canada organized its Fifth Convention in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. About 100 SRP members from various US States and Canadian Provinces attended the Convention. Opposition leader Sam Rainsy and MP Tioulong Saumura were also present in the convention, as well as Ron Abney, the only US victim of the 30 March 1997 grenade attack against a peaceful demonstration in front of the National Assembly.
