Vietnam signed an agreement Thursday with Cambodia to waive import tariffs on 40 agricultural items like rice, coffee, and rubber from September this year.
Deputy Minister of Trade Phan The Rue inked the deal on behalf of Vietnam with Cambodian Secretary of Trade Kem Sothan.
Rue said the deal was in line with the tax reduction roadmap signed by the two countries under various bilateral and multilateral agreements.
Rice and cigarettes will, however, have quota restrictions, to be annually fixed by Vietnam.

This is what we called modern day economic war! more to come.
These are the tricks of viet nam to export CAMBODIA RICES, CAMBODIA COFFEES and CAMBODIA RUBBERS as the logos of viet nam.
We want to ask Cambodia government why Cambodia doesn't export itself these agricultural products directly to Europe, to Japan or to USA for the pride of Cambodia.
To 8:40PM
I will guarantee you that AH HUN SEN will say: Cambodia don't have deep sea port to move Cambodian products and only the Viet and the Thai have deep sea port!
AH HUN SEN just doing Cambodian people a favor because he has an obligation to make Cambodian people as slave to the Viet because he himself is a slave to the Viet!
AH HUN SEN don't need to tell Cambodian people that the Vietcong don't want Cambodia to have deep sea port because it will create competition for the Viet and the Thai! And AH HUN SEN don't need to tell Cambodian people that Cambodia is a landlock country!
The question Cambodian people need to ask is what can a blind man do for Cambodia? The answer is nothing!nothing!nothing!no can do!
