Prince Sisowath Thomico claimed again that his Sangkum Jatiniyum Front Party (SJFP) has the full right and is legal while the ministry of Interior reacted by saying that the prince’s party did not file all the paperwork, and is not yet authorized to be registered for the participation in the upcoming legislative election.
Prince Thomico, general delegate of the SJFP and former private secretary to King Norodom Sihanouk, clarified in 19 Sept on the situation of his party: “I am recalling that the SJFP is not a new party, it is the old Khmer Unity Party which was formed in 1997, and participated in the 1998 and 2003 elections. For those who have doubts about it, you can check the NEC (National Election Committee) list. Second, when H.E. Khieu Rada called for the congress last 20 August, the congress decided to change its party leaders, its president, its bylaw, its name, and its logo. This does not mean that it is a new political party, the party existed and it has full legal right, even the Ministry of Interior and the NEC recognized it, if we are talking about legality.”
The reaction from Prince Thomico was given after the ministry of Information issued a statement dated 18 Sept declining to recognize the SJFP, and threatened Prince Thomico that as long as he is not fulfilling the ministry’s requirements, the prince’s party is not legal.

At the moment Our country has neither great man nor heroe, howewer full of the rotters, the traitors, the JUDAS.

In my opinion, I realy don't if SJFP is legal or not.
What I realy care is All those DAMP ROYAL PARTIES should be wiped out from the political list. Because they useless to Khmer poeple.
according to el taco, his party is legal and existed for a long time.
if this is true, then this party must be a real shitty party becaue for that long time that it existed, el taco and his party has done NOTHING for Cambodia. el taco and his party have never stick their necks out for khmer because no one has heard or seen or receive or recognize or participated with him or his party. where was thamico then? where was this party and its members then when cambodia needed their help?
people should take note of such reasons and not waste their time with such people and party.
vote and concentrate on SRP, they constantly stick their neck out for cambodia. you can see the result, hear about them on the radio, read about them in international newspapers. help SRP break the cycle of dominance by CPP and royalist. CPP and royalists will destroy our country for sure as they have done for the last 50 years.

when did thamico stand against the young xen? when did he or his party stand against anything or do anything? you mean the empty lip service and the lies he spoke?
you should look at someone's record of achivements first before you follow him or her. don't just follow someone because his/her name is sisowat or norodom.

Tomico! I feel sorry for you when I heard Hun Sen has threatened you with hand calf and asking you to find a coffin. I have ever heard any Khmer leader speaks like this in Cambodian history, even Pol Pot. If you want to charlenge with this psychopath or a violent leader as Mr. jelio named him. You have to be tough and be well prepaired. All what you did last few weeks was an empty thread to Hun Sen, instead, you got a real thread from him. Don't command if you cannot enforce. Don't climb the hill until you reach its peak. Consider these slogans and try to adjust yourself to a sircomstance, you will be more successful on your goal. I appreciate All Khmers who are brave to sacrify life for our beloved country.

let me tell you right now. Thomico and his party will destroy your hope by by splitting the votes of non-cpp voters(instead of between SRP and Funcinpec, now will be between at least 3 parties) and deliver the chunk votes to the CPP for sure.
