Border Markers Signify 'Hopeful Future': Hun Sen

By Yun Samean THE CAMBODIA DAILY

Newly installed demarcation posts along the Cambodia-Vietnam border symbolize a new era, Prime Minister Hun Sen proclaimed at a ceremony in Svay Rieng province Wednesday to officially mark the installation of the first of the 353 posts. The border markers signified a new "hopeful" future for Cambodia and "permanent proof of our people's heritage," Hun Sen said in a speech at Chantrea district's Bavet commune that was later rebroadcast on radio. Ok Socheat public affairs adviser to Funcinpec party president Norodom Ranariddh, said Funcinpec officials had boycotted the ceremony so that "Funcinpec is not held responsible before history." Funcinpec President Prince Norodom Ranariddh criticized the border demarcation earlier mis month claiming that Vietnam had too much influence over the process.

[Ok Socheat said Funcinpec officials had boycotted the ceremony so that "Funcinpec is not held responsible before history."]

I want to ask Mr. advisor that "Should all local people who had been gathered to the ceremony be held responsible before the history?
If I do not hear this comment, then I do not know that he is ignorant, thanks for showing your stupidity.

All those signed this Hun Sen's Boarder treaty with Vietnam, will be hell responsible for any lost of Cambodia's territories to Viet.

Should the CPP current leaders no longer exist, in power or decease, we should perform an inquiry to investigate the real truth behind this matter.

Anyone know the treaties between Cambodia and Vietnam whilst Vietnam occupied Cambodia during 1980s is a viod treaty to base on, which is what Ah Hun Sen used.
