Cambodia will send about 30 military police officers to East Timor as its contribution to Australia's peacekeeping mission there, Commerce Minister Cham Prasidh said Saturday. He made his remarks at Phnom Penh International Airport after Prime Minister Hun Sen returned from his six-day Australia visit. "Australia is happy that Cambodia is sending the MPs and Australia will help equip them," Cham Prasidh said, adding that the contingent will depart soon. Hun Sen announced in Canberra on Wednesday that Cambodia was prepared to send troops to East Timor. National Military Police Commander Sao Sokha said Sunday his men were prepared. "I am not happy or worried, I just implement the order," he said.
