We thank the leaders for caring to protect Cambodia in times of war with the military conscription law. But the legislation will not be fairly applied to all Cambodians.
In all recent regimes, it was the sons of poor Khmer people who were conscripted and sent to the battlefields to shield the rich and powerful from bullets.
The children of wealthy families would bribe officials and live comfortably at home.
Of course, the best army does not come from compulsory conscription. It comes from the spirit of patriotism.
We don't need this draconian law. People will volunteer for the army as long as they are not cheated or exploited.
As Khmers, we are ready to sacrifice our lives to defend our motherland.

Very true comment indeed.
Our eyes need to open bigger and see what Mr.Naridth sees. He saw hell awaiting everyone that is poor and class unconscious.
Look out our beloved poor people! What can or would you do to save youself? Please think, try to bring yourself up and practice saying No!
Everything that we do 20 times will become a habit. Please make that habit is one of your own. Tell them that they can kiss your royal peasant feet instead! and go do something else! anything and something meaningful to you, but being an army to protect those rotten people!
Thank you Mr. Naridth for bringing that up. You are one very smart Cambodian man. I wish and pray to God,there will 100,000 more people like you soon.
The law is for the book and for additional mechnic for bribery in this goverment. There is no such thing call FAIR. The system will only help to get young Cambodians of the unemployement list. It is good for the Cambodian society but what is the salery for a private level? I hope it large enough to support a samll family.
There will be no war in Cambodia. Hun Sen already signed all frontier agreement with Cambodian neighbors.
Great idesa and i do support this statement. The consription law absolutely doesnt reflect the spirit of Khmer People. Or even without this law we will defend our land until the end of our life. And I can say that even thought we have many and well-trianed soldiers we still cant protect our land from neigboring countries if the, stupid, puppet and traitor leader HUn Sen is sin the power.
